Thats because they havent even begun to fill it up less the customer initiates the transaction. I get it... they dont want to fill things unnecessarily; but ideally as a customer, it would be nice to come from the doc and be able to just pick it up. Thats the only thing keeping this place from 5 stars.

Had a very rude staff when I went in , I don't know what it is but Sunbury pharmacy has always been…read morelike this . I walked up to the counter to ask a question. The gate was down so I knew the pharmacist wasn't in but my question was just about reading off the ingredients I'm half blind and was having a hard time reading the ingredients label to a medication for my first pregnancy. I always have to read because I'm allergic to a certain ingredient and they didn't have the brand I normally get so all I was gonna ask is the ingredients was on the back of the box . I tried telling the young lady behind the counter that but got interrupted 3 times with her saying " pharmacist will be back at 1:30 " I told her I understand but ... and again she told me " pharmacist will be back at 1:30 " and when I tried to tell her what I needed she did it again. So I'm super glad that a customer was able to help me rather than an employee. The store is amazing but I always have issues with the pharmacy.

I switched all of my meds to Walmart because I currently can't drive due to medical conditions and…read moreI work there so it's easy for me to just pick them up when I work. My only complaint so far is that they have been out of all of my controlled substances. They have had to order them. And because of the weekend I don't get them until Monday which SUCKS when you're in a lot of pain. And the fact that my doctor didn't send in the prescription until 5 on a Friday makes it impossible for me to get it sent to a pharmacy that has it in stock. And because it's a controlled substance it canNOT be transferred to another pharmacy. Even if it is in stock at another Walmart smh. Other than that they have my prescription ready VERY quickly. Like within 15 mins of them being sent a new prescription. So far they haven't had any issues with non controlled substances.

I would give them a negative star if I could. Scheduled for my child to receive COVID vaccine…read more After her 1st dose she broke out in an anxiety rash. I know it was anxiety because it went away as soon as she calmed down. The pharmacist directed me to call her pediatrician to ensure it would be OK for her to still receive her 2nd dose there. Talked to her pediatrician, and he said it would be fine because she didn't have any breathing problems and it was likely anxiety. Called the pharmacy to confirm her pediatrician was fine with her getting her 2nd dose from the pharmacy. Arrived at pharmacy for the appt and was told they couldn't give it because she had an allergic reaction. Nobody told me that. They made it even worse by saying she could have an even worse reaction from the 2nd dose in front of her. I don't know if they were trying to make me feel like a bad parent, but if my doctor says it's OK, it's OK. Called my pediatrician who offered to speak with the pharmacist himself, and they still refused. No available appts anywhere, so now we have to wait another week for the second dose. I am beyond angry about the lack of communication. I could've made an appt elsewhere had I known they were going to do this. Below is proof of a text confirming the appt so again no communication they weren't going to give it. Why would they be OK with giving them at all if they are so concerned about allergic reactions. It was obvious there was no protocol of what to do should it happen. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!
