I hadn't paid much mind to the amount of lottery played down here and BIG T's is a most popular spot for this indirect way of taxing the poor, so little do they see. Tuesday's jackpot is 1.6 zillion? I played $6.00 of numbers, not trying to be hypocritical here. All indications from outside do not tell of the well laid out interior, aisles well stocked and well marked, floors as clean as you coukd hope for. Very easy going and patient counter help, as the place was all a buzz with lotto fever and thirsty Saturday afternoon beer drinkers.

The biggest issue is the consistently long lines inside usually just one cashier, which creates a wait. I've left empty-handed more than once due to the line, which is a missed sales opportunity for the store. If there's no traffic, I'll stop for gas. But if it's busy, I usually just keep driving--it's not worth the hassle of getting back into traffic.

I of course called them and they said they would absolutely not do that. So I wonder if I was being scammed in some way and it was magically fixed after I went inside to ask about it. When I asked an employee during the daytime why they keep closing at night, she said the employee vomited everywhere and had to clean the store and locked the door . I can understand that night but what about tonight ? This is our neighborhood gas station and we keep trying to get gas after work.
