I've been calling in supplies for the past year and this is the first time I've spoke to her. She needs to work on her customer service skills. She has a bad tone and attitude. I've always ordered supplies 2-4 weeks in advance. She says they can only do it a week in advance. The next delivery date will always be 30 days after the supplies are delivered. She was just too lazy to calculate when the next shipment would go out. Then she says I'll do it for you this time. I said thank you, I really appreciate it. Her response was "Mmm Hmm." Mike and his team worked to get the necessary medical information from my primary care physician who wrote the Rx for the walker. The process is kind of ridiculous (not on behalf of the pharmacy, but insurance... a prescription from my primary care doctor wasn't enough, UHC wanted medical "evidence"). In the end, UHC didn't cover this, but the pharmacy gave me back the Rx and medical records they'd obtained so I could go to another pharmacy that insurance would accept. A nurse stayed with me the whole time and talked to me about Prep and other options. He even had someone come in to talk about financials. There is still a huge stigma unfortunately and I've witnessed it firsthand, at other locations. Here I felt safe, welcome, and there was no judgement. Instead of, "What do you want me to do?" It was "How can we help?" With any result, they are there to answer all questions and if they don't know, they don't hesitate to ask colleagues. I was a first time patient so there was paperwork involved but nothing too extensive. Oh and did I mention NO PROOF OF INSURANCE IS NEEDED FOR THE FREE BLOOD TEST! There isn't a catch. My gosh, that is dirt cheap and delicious. The aisles are categorized. The shelves are stocked and organized. I love shopping the refrigerated and frozen section. That's where we get in trouble. Also their wine selection is also solid. I love that each section has samples you can try. If I like it, I'll buy the product. We walked around and ended up spending more than we anticipated. I also applied for the Visa Costco credit card which has a lot of perks and cash back. I can now say that I've joined the Costco bandwagon.
