This is the kind of experience I have had with this Rite aid on Pond st. Since the beginning!!

Today I went in to pickup a prescription that my doctor had sent over yesterday. This is a controlled substance medication for ADHD I have taken for months. My insurance doesn't cover this medication so I pay for it out of pocket. Today the pharmacist informs me that she can no longer fill controlled substances if they are not approved by insurance. This is ridiculous! With no warning at all from the store or corporate. So now I am out of my medication and being as it is a controlled substance medication I will have side effects from not taking this medication while I wait for my doctors office to send a new prescription over to a new pharmacy and wait for it to be filled. I will now be transferring all of my medications and my kids medications as well to another pharmacy. Thanks for not doing right by your customers.

I use that terminology because that is the sincere rare caring that has been shown to me many times over . That atmosphere is established first by the owner Pharmacist Dave , and is a welcome contagious one , " caught " by each of his staff. Hmm...I suppose that would be the only contagion that would be welcome there . One 4th of July I forgot to refill my important medication before the store had closed. Dave left his family barbecue to open the pharmacy for me . He arrived to help me with his consistant kindness, while he had every right to feel otherwise , since it was my lapse in memory that dragged him back to work that day. There is not one chain of pharmacies around our town that would have unlocked their doors on a closed Holiday to let me in and fill my prescription . Thank God for the dedication of the staff at this pharmacy and others like it that are comitted to maintain a higher standard of excellence while facing all of the challenges that are inherent within the choice they made to bring an independent home town pharmacy for all of us to benefit. I am grateful for the many times your kindness and a smile have brightened my day. Sincerely, Rosanna Hillman

*Review for COVID-19 testing only as I've never been inside the store*…read more Came to this Rite-Aid today for COVID-19 test #3. I live a bit closer to the Robbinsville store, but they were all booked up, no appointments available at all! No openings even though the whole reason for test #3 is that test #2 came back inconclusive and they strongly encourage a re-test in that case. Anyway, this is an older Rite-Aid that's only a mile from the Willingboro store, so don't get them confused and make sure you pick "Edgewater Park" on your map program. Willingboro offers COVID testing also. My only complaint was having to wait in the 100 degree heat for a few minutes at the drive-through window. Once the pharmacist appeared, it was smooth sailing. She had me show my ID through the glass, opened up the drawer to reveal a bin containing the infamous cotton nasal swab and a glass vial with a clear solution on the bottom. She counted to 15 for each nostril as I swabbed and managed to avoid lobotomizing myself. From there I proceeded to break part of the swab so it would fit into the vial, sealed it up, and off I went! Easy, really quite painless. I explained how my last test was inconclusive and the nice lady proceeded to direct me to remove my sunglasses so she could make sure I was wincing enough to indicate full and proper swab insertion in the nasal cavity. Got a laugh out of that and that never hurts these days! If you live in northern Burlington county or much of Mercer, hell let's include Allentown and that corner of Monmouth too, this Rite-Aid is gonna be your best bet right now as far as testing availability and ease of getting to (just off Route 130 south). Staff was nice and the experience was better than expected. "Don't judge a book by its cover" rings true with this Rite-Aid.

I am in class and have never been so bored in my life; 2. have you been to a chain pharmacy lately? Ugh! Moved to Burlington in 2005 and this pharmacy is about a block from my house so I sent my perscriptions there rather than the Walgreens about a mile down the road. Since then I have had nothing but fantastic service... when I had an issue getting a perscription filled (thanks health insurance company) the pharmacist worked diligently toward getting me what I needed and even provided options to hold me over in the meantime. I trust this guy more than I do my doctor... the pharmacist at least knows my name without looking it up on a chart -- not because I have lots of health issues either. It's just how they operate. On the shop end of the house, things are a little more expensive than a chain store but in the spirit of supporting local business I do stop there for most of my unexpected miscellaneous shopping; like when you're all out of TP at an inopportune moment. Besides, they keep my fairly uncomon cigarettes on hand (something Walgreens laughed at me for asking about) just to be sure they have them for me when I need them.
