The pharmacy staff is always helpful, willing to answer questions pertaining my medications and very courteous. I stopped in here while on my way to work, since the a different CVS on my route was closed because it was early in the morning. When it comes to pharmacies, I just need the basics. This CVS carries various brands of cough drops. I am grateful that this location was open in the morning, as compared to other CVSs that are closed at that time of the morning. read more

On top of having the idiot manager WRONGFULLY ACCUSE ME OF STEALING IN FRONT OF A CROWD FOR NO FATHOMABLE REASON THE OTHER DAY, this location is constantly running out of medications, medications of the "you might die if you don't take them" variety. My father is diabetic; on multiple occasions, they've told him they've run out of insulin & he'll need to wait a week until they re-up. On another occasion, THEY GAVE HIM SOMEONE ELSE'S MEDS. If he hadn't caught it in time, it WOULD have killed him. I've been told many times they've run out of my klonopin & wouldn't have any available for 1wk. They're lucky--hell, more importantly, *I'm* lucky--that I'm not physically dependant on them because, if I was, I would've had seizures, been hospitalized, and, in all likelihood, DIED. There are people who ARE physically dependant on them: what about them? Don't be fooled, this is not the norm for pharmacies, it's just recklessness and poor management. I've worked at a pharmacy--a small podunk pharmacy, at that--and even they had a protocol where they'd put in a morning order so any unavailable meds would be in stock by the afternoon+an afternoon order so they'd be available by the next morning. More importantly: THEY NEVER RAN OUT OF INSULIN, they'd just order more when their inventory dropped low enough. As they should! IT'S A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH! I'd been having my doctor send my meds to a different pharmacy for awhile just to avoid dealing with their ineptitude, decided "what the hell" and gave them another shot, but, screw it, not worth it. You don't have my meds and you've wrongfully accused me of being a thief. I'm done. read more

Go to another pharmacy if you can! The pharmacists give wrong information on medications - she told me that these 2 medications are similar while I knew they were quite different. In addition, they are unwilling to answer simple questions such as availability of medicine. When my medicine was not in stock, the pharmacist told me that they would order it. But 3 days later when I went back, there was no record of the order. I then waited another 3 days but was then told that the medicine was on 'backorder' and they could not give me a date for when the medicine will be available. When I asked the pharmacist to check if they have this other brand in stock. She immediately said that CVS did not sell that brand at all. I later checked with CVS in Peekskill and the Peekskill store had it, which means the croton store pharmacist lied or did not know the brand and did not bother to check it in the system. read more

Hate this pharmacy.. where should I start.... workers rude with bad attitude..... Always long wait.... They take forever to get medication ready even if it's a cream or Shampoo, Harassing text to pick your medication but then... They close 15/20 minutes before the advertised time. Don't expect to get your medication if you come 40 minutes before closing time.... they will argue with u that it's not enough time.... to give a prescribed topical cream???? read more

I went in today around. My wife and I were wearing masks and trying to practice social distancing. First, they have no sanitizing wipes in the front. They have not had them for weeks. Second, they let at least three people into the store with no masks or face coverings. You have older people and sick people in a drug store. Shame on you!!!!! read more

I want to CVS and Croton for years, then suddenly they stopped taking my insurance, and only told me when I came in to refill my prescription. They have a good amount of stuff but I won't be going to them anymore I'm going to Sav Mor now. read more

My last experience with the pharmacy was so bad that I filed a professional complaint with the ny state agency that oversees pharmacists. I also contacted corporate and did not hear back from them. Overall, I also find the merchandise overpriced compared to Shoprite which isn't that much further away and has been extensively renovated. read more

Customer service doesn't exist at this location's pharmacy. Ben is, without a doubt, the rudest individual I've ever encountered. Anywhere. He intentionally talks down to you, cuts you off mid-sentence, and is overall a miserable, obnoxious, mean person. HIPAA be damned when he's reading the name of your Rx's out loud in front the other waiting customers because CVS didn't scan the full prescription in and cut off the refill information. This pharmacy is terrible, if only because of the tragic staff you're forced to deal with. read more

So this is a very quiet area and a lot of older people live in the neighborhood. When you stick around the store for a bit you realize the girls are the only ones that actually care, the guys don't really work as well, they actually are very sexist towards girls, as a man myself I find that so disrespectful. Every time I go shopping I gotta here some kid (I forget his name) talking to a friend or co worker about how he got so drunk last night... really? So I can't walk. (Injured my leg) Just came from the Dr. and had some prescriptions to pick up. So I can have someone pick them up for me but then I remember that my CVS has signs for curbside pickup. Perfect! Except when I call from outside the cvs they said they don't have it. What? May want to get rid of those signs then. Took me 20 min in excruciating pain to get to the pharmacy as far from the entrance as possible. read more
