Finally they said the prescription was sent 30 minutes away to a different location. I asked why that would be since I was at this location and saw the dr at this location. They said they didn't know but wouldn't cancel the prescription to the other location and fill it at this one. I travel to the other location- they say they never got the prescription. I called the minute clinic who said it was sent to the same pharmacy I was seen at originally. We go back. They say they see it is now in a different location. We go there. They have no prescription. 4 cvs and 2 hours of driving later I still have no prescription.

Best pharmacy I've ever used!…read more Fast, friendly service. They ALWAYS have my (difficult to find medication). On the extremely rare occasion that they don't have enough to fill my prescription, they give me what they do have, then they immediately order it and deliver the remainder of that prescription to my home the next day! They were one of the first stores around to place Plexiglas shields at the registers, mark 6 ft spots near the registers, offer hand sanitizer, host a senior hour and time for those with compromised immune systems, and promote mask wearing. One amazing option Schnucks offers shoppers since March of 2020 is to order groceries through Instacart (with no Instacart Fee) for drive up pick up. There are designated spots right outside the store for these orders. While the shopper is filling the order you can chat in the App and request other items. The Schnucks employees bring your order out to your car wearing a mask and place it in the trunk. The fresh produce and other grocery items I have gotten here all have been excellent quality. I shop at Schnucks much more frequently now. The Woods Mill Road Store employees are outstanding. I will return soon.

I used it when I had COVID (took the proper dosage, which is my weight divided by 33) and wanted to have more on hand for emergencies. Not only could Genesis Pharmacy fill the script, but it only cost $80 for a supply of 40 pills. And I turned in a reimbursement request to my insurance. The pharmacy is in an old medical building on the main floor. It has handicap entrance, but too tight of a restroom stalls for handicapped. The pharmacy has overpriced beverages and few other items. The prescription was $55 and I wondered why my doctor sent me here. Yes, they carried the item, but at a high price. The counter person was professional- it was the shock of the price. There's an optional texting system that will alert you a prescription is due for refill. If you agree, you later (generally same day) get a text that the prescription has been filled and is ready for pick-up. If there are no refills left on a prescription, you get a text that they will call your physician to verify the refill. If you don't pick up your refills within five days, you get a text reminder. And I have even gotten a call, if it's been a week. You can opt out of this system any time you want, but I find it quite convenient. You also can order refills online and are immediately given a date and time when the prescription will be available. The pharmacy techs are always friendly and efficient, and ask if you have questions about your prescriptions. If you do, a pharmacist is available. If you get a prescription for the first time, they require a pharmacist consult. I think that's a good idea, and I've been given (multiple times) useful and new information about taking a specific medication. When I go to pick up scripts and there's a line, I do a little shopping or just walk around the store for a bit. Upon returning to the pharmacy, the line's generally clear. My insurance will be changing again soon, so I'll see if I can stick with Walmart. They do a fabulous job, and the pharmacy has great hours.
