if I could give them a zero or negative I would the worst CVS around the pharmacy. The lady in the at the drive-through window was so rude. The delivery from her. Is was ridiculous today. I have been going to that CVS since the first day they opened. I'm now going to change to a different store Because she was absolutely horrible does not deserve to be working there!! You would think these and star rating are so bad corporate would come in and investigate and see what the problem is really irritated about that store. I'm very disappointed on how unprofessional & rude one of the pharmacists treated my family at this location. She yells out patient's name, name of medication, and what they do. She has the worst attitude. She does not respect the privacy of each individual. I'm not sure about her name because she did not wear her name tag (for obvious reasons) I believe she is Latina or possibly Filipino. I would highly recommend you to go to another location if you don't want your private business yelled out to all the people inside the store to hear. It seems like this store should be busier than it normally is, as it's right at the corner of Tryon and Pavilion Blvd. Just a couple miles up the road lies the PNC Music Pavilion which headlines A-List celebreties on a weekly basis. Either way, it's a plus for me when I need something quick because it's a reliable 5-minute in and out. Layout of the store is pretty convenient. Impulse snacks line the front and drinks and perishables are around the back perimeter. The store is reasonably split with cosmetics and health supplies on one side, and consumables on the other. There's a redbox outside as well so you can pickup and return day or night. Getting into the parking lot is no big deal, but getting out can be a bit of a hassle. Pavilion Blvd isn't the friendliest road with everyone driving 45mph+ up to an inevitable red light at the intersection, this is par for the course in the University Neighborhood... Trust me, I was raised here. The occasional visit here is always an easy one. It's a great store for the essentials or last minute need. read more

Stumbled in here a couple times needing some items on my way to go somewhere else. The first stop yielded an unsuccessful find. They were completely out of what I was looking for, but the pharmacy manager called the store manager to check if that was the case. They did a good job in checking, just a little disappointed that they don't stock more of the particular item. Ended up going to a Walgreens down the road to get what I needed. I find it a little weird the CVS sits alone next to a movie theater, it is also right close to Verizon Wireless Amp so they can pick up the concert going crowds. There are some apartment complexes located across the street, but otherwise, the shopping choices close by are rather limited. I guess that is why this location is so big and carried a lot of different type items (just not the one I was looking for when I needed it). The people in the Pharmacy seemed to have a friendly demeanor, usually when I got into these CVS places, the employees (especially in the pharmacy) are super busy and stressed out. I would not fill my perscriptions here though since it is not convenient to my home. read more

CVS is extremely understaffed. I can understand being understaffed but being rude is a whole different matter. Here's a good example. CVS Computer system went down. The problem I have is that I went to the pharmacy because I had scheduled to have pneumonia and flu shots. Several people were standing in line. The people at the pharmacy were just working away they saw all these people standing in line and not once did they tell us that the system was down and they couldn't do anything. The only way we found this information out is with the lady at the front of the line who started yelling do y'all not see us what is the problem? Only then did a young man come and say our system is down and we can't do anything. This is not the first time that I've had had problems with CVS because they're understaffed. But as I said, in the beginning, being understaffed and rude are two different things. read more

The technicians are so sweet and genuinely trying there best. The pharmacist working when I came was extremely rude to both the technicians and the customers. She hid in the office for 20 minutes to eat lunch when the store already closes for an hour for that reason exactly. No one could fill any prescriptions while she was having her tantrum forcing 2 technicians to service 15+ employees with no pharmacist. Do better. Value your employees read more

The pharmacy at this location WILL NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONE! On two separate occasions I have called with medication questions, where I needed to speak to a pharmacist, and both times I gave up after waiting over 20 minutes. Never spoke with an actual person at all. Will be moving our business elsewhere. And we are both old and in poor health, so we will have a LOT of business for Walgreens! read more

This review is strictly for the pharmacy department. Everytime I go the pharmacy the staff is so incredibly rude, this time the lady in front of my turned around and said if they would stop arguing about the medication it wouldn't take as long arguing is just going to make it take longer. Everyone in line felt the staff was incredibly rude to the customer at the front of the line for absolutely no reason. The last time I picked up my medication the lady tossed them forcefully on the counter and acted so irritated that I asked to use my goodrx card she turned around and said well that will take me 15 minutes to reprocess and LEFT me standing there. I do not understand why this location consistently has issues being rude to their customers. I do not feel comfortable even having my medication refilled here. I can not and will not return because of their pharmacy staff. I will say the ONLY person I talked to that was not rude today was the young girl who rang me up. Otherwise the pharmacist or whoever was in charge of filling scripts today was not having a good day and made everyone in line upset. read more

Three stars almost feels a little too generous for this location. I have gone in on multiple occasions looking for different things. Almost every single time I have walked out empty handed due to understocked shelves and horrible selections of product. I understand that you no longer sell cigarettes, but apparently you also don't sell Epsom salts, car care or motor oil, hair ties, hair care, red hair dye, and a million other things. The one time I made the mistake of asking an associate when they would be receiving more stock, the lady got a nasty attitude with me. From now on I'll send my business to Wal-Mart or the grocery store. read more

This ploce is terrible. horrible customer service. On Thursday, November 20th, I called MULTIPLE times about pictures that I ordered online. First, the girl with the attitude that I spoke to on the phone told me I might have to have them printed somewhere else because the order two people in front of me ordered at 8x10 and they ran out of 8x10 ribbon. I ordered a 5x7 and (2) 4x6s (No 8x10s). They said they would know for sure when the manager came in at 2pm how long of a wait the fix would be. I asked them to have the manager call me and let me know when she got in at 2. At 3:30 when I called THEM back, they told me they were still unsure and asked if I want to cancel my order. I told them to cancel it but still to have the manager call me because I wanted to express my dissatisfaction. NEVER DID I GET A PHONE CALL. So today, November 24th, I receive an email telling me that my pictures are ready to be picked up... HAHAHHAA, AS IF. This place is a joke. I understand things aren't perfect and machines break, but atleast have the decency to let your customers know or return calls when you say you will. I live in the apartment right across from this CVS and trust me, I will take my business to the CVS 10 miles away before I step back in this store... read more

This CVS is okay, had a pick up at the pharmacy that they notified me to come get ended up getting there all for them to scramble around and tell me it wasn't finished I was then told that it would be less than ten minutes waited there almost an entire hour later mean while I was just shopping around and one of the employees was vacuuming and she literally ran me out of the isle I was in with the vacuum she got as close as she possibly could making it clear that she wanted me out of it. I wasn't the only person who was beyond irritated over this, one guy even told her to her face that it was rude. Went back to the pharmacy and they finally noticed I had been there almost an hour and they were very apologetic but when they rang in my prescriptions they didn't even fill all of them. This was the last thing I wanted to hear when I'm sick with the flu and bronchitis so I just left and told them to send my prescription to another Cvs even though this Cvs is walking distance from my apartment. I would definitely suggest calling before hand but even then half the time the calls don't go through or you're put on hold so your best bet is to go to another Cvs. read more
