Whereas it used to only carry very general staple items, they now carry some very interesting and well-priced specialty items. They still have the staples, and they're generally cheaper than stores such as Walmart and Sav-a-Lot. Their specialty items are very well priced too. Their produce is generally pretty fresh, which isn't something I can say about Walmart. Their prices of berries, which are generally pretty expensive at other grocers, are unbelievably low. Aldi employees are simply amazing at checking people out. They're extremely fast and can cut down a line in no time! I've never had a bad experience with an Aldi employee. I also like the smaller store format compared to the newer build Aldi locations. Unfortunately, this Aldi will be moving to a newly built store across from BJ's on Gateway Ave., so we won't have the smaller store for much longer.
