Winter Springs Pharmacy fills your prescriptions on time, and more importantly, treats you like a human. They even helped walk me through an issue I was having with CVS Caremark's bureaucratic red tape. Caremark tries to coerce people into going to CVS, even though other pharmacies are in-network, but the staff at Winter Springs Pharmacy personally helped me to resolve the issue quickly and with little hassle. That means a lot to me.

I waited and called back 24 hours later. The woman taking the call apparently only slightly attended to anything being said as I explained I had come in the day before - as in yesterday. She assured me I was calling the wrong store as the person there said no one had come in today. Again I told her yesterday and as impossible as it sounds that took a third telling! She still insisted I was calling wrong store as there were 3 in Altamonte. I told her the one on corner of Maitland Ave and 436. She spouted her address and followed up there were 3 stores. I pointed out only one was at the corner of ... to which she assured me there was one by the freeway and one .... So I asked her on what corner was HER WALGREENS. We're by First Watch and Chipotle. WILL SOMEONE PLEASE TELL THE GIRL WHERE SHE WORKS?! I calmly explained I'm looking for a solution to this problem. She informed me this happens sometimes. So....what do you do to fix it? We just give them there money back if they come in. To say this encounter was dense is an understatement. This employee did not listen. No one greets the customers nor tell them they will be with you momentairly. This is the 2nd incident where I had to wait while the employees walk around the store. Pablo was extremely rude and I was informed by another customer his wife had to report him to corporate. I also will Be reporting him to Corporate. When I came to the register, Pablo stood in front of me playing on his phone. He did not acknowledge that I was standing with my items in my buggy. When I left and came back from getting my card out my car he was in photography assisting customers. Again, me and the other customer waited. I called for help Afterwards, Plabo yelled to me. "You can wait!" Very loudly and rudly! I informed him everytime I come in this store I'm always waiting more than 5minutes. He kept yelling at me until another employee came to assist. He looked as if he was coming to put his hands on me and I felt threatened. Had it not been for the other employee I'm not sure what could have happened.

The parking lot was fairly full as was the store. When we walked into the store, the produce was straight-ahead and the easiest to find of the items we were shopping for. I don't remember ever seeing such a large volume of fruits and vegetables! We continued down the food aisles on the same side of the store, which could have been a store on its own, given the square footage it occupied. The challenge after the food: find the birthday party paper products. Thankfully, I opened the Walmart app and found the store map and the product search, which both turned out to be very accurate! If we hadn't had the store map, our stay would have been far longer, and we would have wished we had a AAA Triptik! Checking out also turned out to be fast, especially compared to the self-checkout lines which backed up to the fairly wide main aisle. Because I used the Scan & Go feature in the app, I could scan the products as I put them in the cart (which seemed even larger than Co$tco'$), and go through the dedicated lane to validate the purchase. We were the only customers who were using this lane! Best part of the trip! So, if you've never shopped in this super center before, be sure to download the Walmart app beforehand. You'll thank yourself at the Scan & Go check out lane.
