Let's be honest, this one's in a busy area. The Old Keene Mill, Burke Center and Fairfax County Parkway cab be a cluster. Please do be mindful of non drivers. This dilapidated and old shopping center, and how you drive it, needs to be updated asap. Am I glad it's here? Yes as an urgent care I visit is just down the street. I like this convenience, especially if not feeling great. A really nice pharmacy team at this store. The other employees seem friendly, but my best guess is they are understaffed. Self checkouts have helped. The option of not printing out million mile long receipts was a smart decision. I also like that this and all CVS's, stopped selling tobacco products. That goes with healthy decisions. This one is well stocked, and clean along with being organized. read more

They are so lost with everything, had to call many times to see if my medication was ready, she said in a few mi, nothing happened. It was a transfer from a different area and she was lost. I get there the next day and they want to charge me. She said my insurance has expired, to call medicare. Its the same card ive used at many CVS. In fact just picked up from them 3 weeks ago. I was shopping at CVS today, located at 9582 Old Mill Rd. Burke Virginia, 22015. I was looking for someone to help me and I was directed to a gentleman, I don't know if he is the manager, but he said I will send someone to help you. It took 15 minutes for someone to help me and as soon as I was paying, I needed help because the price didn't match. I waited for another five minutes before the same gentleman that I was directed to came to my help. I asked him that this product has a different price. His response was I will send someone to help you because I'm in the middle of something. I felt disregarded and disrespected to some degree, so I left the store. read more

The manager now assumes everyone is stealing at self check! Big note people have to use the self check because there no one at the register! I don't mind self check at all but don't come up to me at the self check line having seen and heard the loud ass beep and tone they play when purchasing thing. I still had my card in hand, I just choose to email my receipt because I didn't want all the paper! I only bought 2 items. And he assumed I was stealing. read more

I get a prescription for adderall every month and every month they are out and tell me they have to order it in. Which then puts off the prescription of every month after that. Why wouldn't you order enough for the month? They are ALWAYS OUT. I spend time out of my day to drive there and not to mention that I called beforehand and they told me they had it. I love the convenience of the CVS here. It's close to my house. It's great to come in here and get what I need, then pop into Safeway to get some groceries, pop in to Glory Days for a beer or whatever you should desire. The pharmacy staff has always been pleasant for all the years I've been coming here. I have never had any issues or have a need to complain about any employee as long as I can remember. The store always looks pretty clean and organized. Rarely do I see boxes stacked up in the isles. They generally always have everything I need and the shelves are always well stocked. read more

I want to preface this by saying that I work in retail and have never gave a customer this kind of issue (because it's a ridiculous issue). I bought my items at self checkout because there was no staff at the front until I started checking out and it doesn't allow you to see what coupons you have before hand. When I finished checking out I had a few coupons that would have been helpful to the purchase. I was looking to return the items and buy them back with the coupon, and the man (was wearing formal attire most likely a manager) told me basically that I was out of luck because I had earned the coupons through the purchase which wasn't true, they were about to expire. From working in retail if a customer comes back to return items to repurchase them with coupons I have never given them absolutely any issue. It's perfectly fine. Completely ridiculous experience and I understand why this place has horrible reviews. read more

They told me my prescription was at a different CVS, so I drove all the way there only for them to tell me it was at the first one I went to, this one. It's a controlled medication so they couldn't transfer, and I had to waste time driving between stores on an employee error. read more

I love this CVS! I live in Burke, and this is my go-to pharmacy. Taki (not sure if the spelling is correct) at the pharmacy is great - really personable. He helped me out earlier this year when my insurance lapsed and I needed antibiotics. Taki searched for and pieced together multiple coupons so that the antibiotics were affordable enough for me to pay out of pocket. He's the best! read more

I can't believe how bad the two reviews of my local CVS are. I'm Tom Crepeau. The manager, Melissa, is extremely helpful and competent, and has one of the friendliest staffs trained in excellent customer service. No matter who is at the front registers, they greet me in a friendly fashion any time I, or my wife, walk in. Logan was at the registers today, and greeted me in a very friendly way, as always. As my wife and I were shopping in the vitamins aisle, Zac overheard us talking about the price of the vitamins we were looking at. He mentioned they were still on sale, having just taken down the sign in preparation for the new sales tomorrow. He then helped Laura find the exact vitamin she'd bought before (small, and disolves on your tongue) which Laura wasn't recognizing as the bottle she remembers came packed in a box (and, may have come that way when she bought her last bottle). She also, while trying to pick up two of them, picked up one of the thing next to it, Zac asked if she meant to buy that too and not two of what she wanted (there was a buy-2 sale price) and Laura thanked him for pointing that out before we got to the register with one bottle we wanted and one we didn't. Overall, a typical good shopping trip at a store we're in almost every week. This particular CVS has the best customer service I've ever had at a CVS, and I've been shopping there for a long time (do you remember when CVS was People's Drugstore? I do!) -tc read more

Pharmacy staff were rude and unhelpful to the point of being nearly obstructionist. Store staff generally haven't been much better. So long as you have all day, don't need to ask a question or do anything that might require extra effort - say using a coupon - you should be ok. read more

I've been using this CVS Pharmacy for a number of years, and the staff has always been friendly, courteous and customer focused. Any time I've had any questions, they direct me to the Prescription Drop Off (as opposed to holding up the check-out/pick-up line) where the Pharmacist has always been helpful. I also like that they refer questions to the drop-off window as it affords more privacy to the customer. read more
