Lots of disrespect from one of the Woman employees at this location. I'm an 18 year old kid, and I treat all places with respect, but just because I'm younger this one employee immediately assumes I'm in the store to cause issues. Seriously, every time I go in at nights to pick up a water for the gym, I get followed around the store (by her). Then I am met with a snarky and unpleasant attitude at checkout. I also know it's just because I'm a kid (I know some cause problems) but come on, can a man not get a drink and snack in peace?! A little respect seriously goes a long way. WORST Pharmacy ever!! The people that work there are rude, unprofessional and have no concept of customer service! They have filled my prescriptions late, incorrectly and tried to give me generic, when I have repeatedly told them I do t want generic. Today was the worst of all! They charged me $345 for an antibiotic for my dog that I found out later I could get at chewy.com for less than $80. WTF?!? I went back and questioned the price and expected at least a partial adjustment. All I got was a shrug and an excuse. I will NEVER go back to this store!! DONT GO TO THIS PHARMACY!!!!!! Terrible cvs. No one ever picks up the phone at the pharmacy. There is never anyone working in the actual store. When the self checkout doesn't work, it takes forever to get someone to help. Avoid this cvs at all costs. It's the worst. read more

OMFG MOST TERRIBLE WORKERS EVER. don't ever go here unless you want to get yelled at the whole dam time ur here. basically me n my friend calmly walked into the store to look at hair products. we walk in and start going through the isles and we j were enjoying our time reading the descriptions and smelling them. apparently this one fat fuc worker got angry with us smelling, not usuing, hair products for like 2 mins and yelled at us. so we moved on to body washes and scrubs, we were at an angle where she could clearly see us and we were doing smelling body washes like anyone would do when getting a body wash, would you get a body wash without smelling ur? didn't think so, anyways she starts yelling at us again and we stayed calm and just left. read more

LISTEN!!! DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS PLACE!!! I was trying to go into the CVS with a couple of my friends to just shop around for snacks and fake nails, etc. but they refused to let four people come in and kicked us out, threatened to call the police and had a stranded in the cold weather that was less than 10° without coats and our parents didn't pick us up until about an hour later they threatened to call the police and said I had a very horrible attitude. They were yelling at us and screaming at us in my nine-year-old friend was in tears, crying and calling her mom. they said we can call anyone unless we stepped at the store. I was on the phone with my mom crying I was desperately scared they kept refusing to let us shop in their store, because they apparently had the right to refuse service to us which is completely acceptable, but they were bullying us. they made a shiver out in the cold and they called the police on us. They called customer service and came up to us on every aisle. they asked us every five minutes if we were OK and we were fine. We were just shopping in their store. they told us to get out of the store and check out immediately when we were literally in their store doing nothing but shopping. please do not go to the store. The workers are terrible and will threaten little kids. I am forever traumatized from that experience at CVS. every time I go into the CVS this happens I have been to the CVS over 20 times, and they always think we're stealing these workers need to get their attitude under control because they bully us and threatening to call the police is completely unacceptable when we're just shopping. stay safe and if you ever encounter this, I hope you don't shiver in the cold. read more

Worst cvs ever!! I'm a 16 year old and was in Birmingham with my friend trying to buy snacks. When we walked in we planed to buy things. not even two minutes of being in the store a worker comes up to us and ask us if we're done shopping and we said no cause we were still looking around. I could not we were in there for maybe five minutes and we were asked if we were ready to check out maybe five times. Then As we we're shopping, we ran into two more of our friends so now we were a group of four, and as we were looking around a worker came up to us and asked if we were together and we responded yes because we figured it wasn't a big deal. She told us two of us had to leave in the building and wait outside and it was literally 10° outside and our parents were picking us up for another 20 minutes so we questioned the rules we were like why would we have to go outside if it's 10° outside and they were like we can get the police to tell you the rules they threatened to call the police on us so we quickly checked out and left. all in all they kicked out a bunch of kids into the snow and we're just disrespectful and had terrible service. They need to get new employees and a new manager because once we got home and had our parents call and complain to them they said it was our fault that we got kicked out, even though we were literally trying to make them money doesn't make any sense to me. I hope they realize that not everyone is trying to steal from you and we weren't doing anything wrong. read more

Oh, CVS, how convenient you are!! I am so glad that you are around...you are my go-to place for greeting cards, medicines, snacks, and more. I have a few minor gripes about this place: 1. its hours....why can't you be open 24 hours? that would make you truly convenient, especially for all of the residents of the lofts, apartments, and homes of the neighborhood in which you reside. 2. its food selection is sorely lacking...they don't always have the staples that you need, like shake n'bake mix or onion soup packets. I have come here in a frenzy a few times before dinner, only to discover that I will have to go to the grocery store anyway. they do, however, have a pretty large wine selection as well as candy selection. one thing I love about this place is how friendly the cashiers are, striking up a conversation with you about the weather or some other small talk. my favorite cashier is the older, grandfatherly gentleman in the pharmacy, who is so delightful to deal with that he almost make the mundane "CVS run" worthwhile. if the proof of a store's worth is in the pudding, i'm partaking...if they sell pudding, that is. ;-) read more

The cashiers here are extremely friendly! And the location is, well, great if you're already walking around downtown Birmingham, but bad if you are going here as a destination; parking is at a premium. We were here a few weeks ago to get a prescription filled. It took about an hour, but we didn't mind because we weren't in a hurry; it just meant we could spend a few minutes grabbing lunch at panera before returning to pick up the meds. read more

This is my CVS. I feel comfortable enough with this store to ignore the NO TURNING RIGHT sign every time I leave and I love it! They carry my new favorite treat (sweet and sour twizzlers, have you tried them? I'm ADDICTED to them) and the people that work there are fantastically nice. The pharmacists have been very helpful in directing me towards things that take care of all of my symptoms when I have a cold and they carry high-end shampoo. I feel like for a CVS, they have a great selection of basics like sugar, milk and eggs. Plus they carry a good array of cleaning supplies and all the magazines a girl could want. And they carry the Twizzlers...I can't find those things anywhere else except that CVS on Woodward. ...you should try them... read more

This is a nice CVS that's spacious and well-lit and well-stocked just on the outskirts of Birmingham. Unlike so many stores, employees here have always asked me if I've needed help looking up an item and found it for me when I did. I get some aches and pains and was looking for some pain relieving patches and creams for my back. Not only did the employee find the items for me but also found another option that was cheaper (no it wasn't CVS brand!). The staff is pleasant and I've found a lot of other items here that are often on sale. CVS in general has good sales. It may not have everything you are looking for but I've been pretty happy with this CVS. read more

The pharmacist and pharmacy staff at CVS in Birmingham, Michigan are both rude and incompentent. They cancelled my perscription - one that I had been taking for 12 years - and would not fill my script. They tried to tell me that they had called my doctor, which they had not because I contacted my doctor and they said the pharmacy had not called. Come to find out, CVS called the WRONG doctor! The frosting on the cake was when the pharmacist told me that she would not give me even one pill because she was looking out for my health - right! Like I'm supposed to stop taking heart medication for even one day is looking out for my health. It took two days to get my records corrected and the script filled. I will not be going back to CVS. Rude and incompentent are the nicest words I can think of saying. I'd give CVS zero stars if I could. read more
