We just came from the Urgent care and they sent us over to CVS since we needed certain medication asap. I guess CVS uses an app or some code now. As soon as you pull up, an auto recording ask you to have a code ready to show the person at the window. My wife did have this, but I found it strange since I don't use CVS regularly for prescriptions. Maybe it's an easier way to identify orders that are ready? The system showed two medications ready even though the Urgent Care sent three and the third one was what we really needed. We kept pleading with the person at the window and were told we'd have to call the Urgent Care. Well they had closed at 8pm, so we could not call them. We even provided the discharge papers showing that they prescribed three medications. Well, either there was a delay or some other issue.... But finally the person at the window told us they could now see the third medication and it would be about a 15 minutes. So glad this was resolved, but we panicked at first .... Hoping to give them a better review at a future visit. read more

This store needs a renovation and deep cleaning badly. Some shelves are over stocked while others are completely empty. Staff is a hit or miss ( mostly miss ) as they are never at the cash wrap ! If it wasn't for 24hours , I would go elsewhere when needing urgent last minute items but send them a refresh with good staff ! read more

They get stars because they have photo option where it is available right away. Except that then you are forced to wait in line for 20 minutes waiting for the cashier in order to retrieve them (with three people in front of me.) Literally the slowest place; the cashier was pleasant enough but seemed to be going back in time with how slow she was. There was also a (maybe?) supervisor who was smacking gum like a cow the entire time she was working, even going as far as talking to people and smacking her gum blowing bubbles while speaking to customers. After she spoke (curtly) with customers through her smacking gum, she left and went to go fiddle around with makeup for the 15-20 minutes that I stood in line. Even went as far as to sit cross legged on the ground while meandering, despite the growing line. Whole time smacking her gum. It wasn't until I had waited the line and was at the register with five people behind me did she decide to make herself useful and take up the additional register. It was then that it took the cashier around 3 minutes to walk over to the picture counter (20 feet away) and get my photos. Holy crap this is why I avoid CVS. Something that should have taken ten minutes took 25. Included a picture of whoever this chomping gum chewer was while she meandered around the makeup for 15 minutes while the line stood still. Maybe have some employee standards? read more

This CVS is awful. The construction going on has most of the parking spots being taken up by construction equipment and storage trailers. The pharmacy has forgotten to give us the proper medication dosing equipment such as droppers and syringes for our child. They have also given us medication in powder format that has not be diluted with the required liquid. Pharmacy staff is RUDE and wait times for them to pick up the phone are 20 mins plus. Everyone behind the counter at the pharmacy looks unhappy to be at work and like they generally hate life. Longer wait times can be experienced when going through the drive thru. Save yourself some headache and transfer all your rx to Publix on Rock Springs Ridge where they actually get it right. The district manager has been made aware of how awful this 24 hour location is and how downhill they have gone. The pharmacy techs are not very good. They like to say that they have the prescription in stock without checking their system and the when you return an hour later they tell you it has to he ordered and is out of stock.l. The technicians are not well educated and seem to skip the little details. They told me I couldn't fill a script because it was written with generic name. Had a coupon for non generic. But script had the word "Substition Permissable". Furious because of their ignorance I went to Walgreens and had no trouble filling script because they seem to be educated. ALSO, waited one time for script and had to over hear some inappropriate conversations between the technicians. read more

Worse pharmacy ever. I was attempting to have a RX transferred to this pharmacy. Called and called and called. No one ever answered.

My wife and I utilize this CVS as our main pharmacy, as it is very close to our house, and is open 24 hours. The pharmacists there, as well as all of the assistants, have all been quite nice to us every time we come in. They are almost always willing to rush an order if they sense we need it right away, and are timely even when not asked to rush. I've had experience with one person working there, where the hospital had not gotten the proper signature for a pain drug for our son after his surgery. She went out of her way to stay on hold with the hospital, track the doctor down, and get the correct approval right away. Aside from the pharmacy, the store is nicely laid out, and is kept clean. We prefer it to the competition across the street for that very reason. read more

The few times I've dealt with this store I was frustrated by the wait and the lack of customer service. Don't try to call ahead because the hold time is also long and they may just hang up. I do believe that they are woefully understaffed which makes me wonder if they have time to fill prescriptions properly. This is just a concern. We put a lot of trust in these places. CIGNA contracts with them and I really wish they would offer other alternatives. read more

Extremely rude staff!! Never has scripts ready when promised, when calling in to speak to someone, on hold or disconnected multiple times. I can see where staff gets they're training, the pharmacy manager, Imran is about as "Rude And Unprofessional as they come" I would give 0 stars but Yelp is making me choose. read more

Today I've been for the second time in the MinuteClinic of this pharmacy. Both times I have been treated by Kaylee and the experience is excellent. I have had mostly negative experiences and I am not a number of meds for very serious medical conditions. I have also had very severe infections that took ridiculously long to fill. Most of the staff is rude. A few are filling in from other stores and seem to be awake. I have had doctors fax RX hours prior (3 or more 24 hours) only to go to pick them up and they are not ready. In late Sept. I had been extremely sick and was surprised, I had not been hospitalized, to sick to walk, I waited in Drive Thru for more than 35 minutes in 90+ degrees, with 3 cars in front of me. Once you are at that point, you can't leave the line because of the cement barriers and the cars behind you. I got to the window - it wasn't ready (this was 4:30pm). They told me 15 min (this is standard reply). I went home and went to sleep, to ill to wait further due to a very high fever. I have been told when I call that the RX refill will be ready in a hour, 7 hours later, I went to pick it up, they hadn't even filled it, they couldn't even find it! I wanted more than 30 minutes for that to be filled. This happens to many people because you see them being told the same thing. Do not go there if it is needed immediately. Every 10 prescriptions, they are giving $5.00 off, well they forget to ask if you want the money to reduce the cost, if you don't return in 7 days it is void. That $5.00 means a lot to me but because I was so sick, I couldn't get back to the store. So, I lost $5.00 because of carelessness. Another time, I didn't know my doctor had written a RX for my Gerd, so I purchased an over the counter medicine when I picked up my RX's. The cashier failed to mention that the doctor had already prescribed something that was much better. When I got home, I saw that I didn't need the over the counter version (I hadn't opened it). I went back and they refused to refund my money on it. Even though I told them I couldn't take both. Finally, their pain patches don't stick except to itself. So after 3 diff patches which would not adhere to my skin, I just stopped buying them, they are very expensive! Unfortunately, most CVS's have now become this bad. This was my 3rd store, now I use a different chain, even though it is more expensive. CVS needs a total overhaul. read more

The pharmacist working behind the counter ignored the 5 customers waiting to be served at 7:15am on 10/1/12. After about 10 minutes I asked the pharmacist if he planned on serving all the customers waiting on line. He responded by saying he was the only one working. At a minimum he could have said something to the customers like I'll get to you in X amount of minutes or said something. I complained to the manager on duty but I'm sure he did nothing.
