Cashier told me to take my bags of counter , and continue with rude talk saying they don't have to pack customers items . I am 75 year old , that shocked me . Why ? Why is it hard for cashiers to pack paying costumers items ? And if I was told that in nice manner , it would have been more respectful . Then she said if you ask us to pack we will. And I asked politely and said please too. Her comeback was , passive - aggressive . She said : are you asking me to do that ? I had to ask again , and then she again repeated same question . Finaly she was packing it , fuming . I was in total shock over her rudeness and news that Home Sense in St. Catharines is NOT packing your item that you buy . There is no common sence to it . Nobody sells anything there , we do it on our own . And whats the point of this ? Your stuff is trained for job of packing and cashing out costumers It has been months , I have not put my foot in there . I would go every week there , before this . For my money , I will go where they respect costumers walking into their store . There is saying " You can do whatever you want , but NOT as far as you want " . I felt absolutely no pressure whatsoever. But here's the kicker...... I initially had the Hunter Douglas rep through Costco give me an estimate. This will be hard to believe.......THE COST FOR SIMILAR SHADES (although not exact) was ENORMOUS! The delivery and installation was promised in than 3 weeks.......it was installed in less. The company manufactures your shades on site in St. Catharines. The installation by Jason was quick, easy and perfectly done. I'm very pleased with everything. As I said, it ain't an exact 'Apples to Apples' comparison but it is easily an 'Apples to Oranges' comparison and for me.......I LOVE ORANGES!
