My husband surprised me by bringing me back to Dundee Country Club for a round of golf. Afterward, we decided to grab a bite to eat in the club house. My husband led me outside to the patio, where there was a reserved table with pink gerbera daisies (our wedding flowers) in vases. I was so surprised! The Hospitality Manager, Rebecca, came out to our table and all was revealed to me. My husband had been in touch with Rebecca to arrange the whole thing - Rebecca reserved the table for us, and went out shopping for the daisies (my husband told her what colour) and vases. Apparently that's all my husband had planned until Rebecca asked if there was anything else they could do, like a different menu than just burgers and hotdogs from the club house. My husband didn't know this was possible, but definitely jumped at the chance. Rebecca said that they were big on anniversaries and could do whatever we wanted. So my husband pre-ordered us shrimp cocktails, salads, chicken and steak - it was amazing! He also arranged for the Cake Box in Kitchener to deliver cupcakes, which Rebecca was totally fine with. She accepted the delivery when it arrived, and plated it nicely for us for dessert. We chatted with Rebecca throughout the lunch, and she is truly a wonderful lady! She was more than happy to help out with the anniversary surprise, and willing to make suggestions. I feel like she went above and beyond what her role entails. She's also incredibly friendly and funny. I would happily recommend Dundee Country Club to anyone who wants a little something special done. Oh, and the golf course itself - it was great! A good mixture of shorter and longer holes. The Starter was also awesome - we wanted to golf alone since it was our anniversary, so he was able to re-arrange some groups to make it happen (note: at least one foursome didn't show up, which is how he was able to help us out. I don't think he would have shuffled everyone around if it was a major inconvenience, which is understandable). Overall, the day was awesome and the staff at Dundee Country Club were amazing!

Come for the golf! Not sure about anything else…read more Golfwise, it's a bit of a hidden gem to non regular golfers. For those in the know, they know. Really amazing views for this pricing tier. The greens and course are in pretty good shape. A little bit more work and a couple of well placed bunkers could make this elite level. But it's already hard enough to book a tee time here, so any major upgrades will most likely not happen any time soon. The potential of this site could easily make this a top notch club in the GTA. I've heard they've mostly cut back on the restaurant and banquet facilities.

As we walked in we were very pleasantly surprised. The place is super nice. Booths on the left and right and a beautiful bar to balance it off. We had made a reservation and as we checked in we were upgraded to the private room in the back. And man would I love to have this setup at home. Wall sized screen, tv for sports and nice comfy chairs. A quick tutorial on the system which is very intuitive and we were off on our round. Yes a little different than the real thing but pretty awesome experience. The service is top notch. The beers are cold and I really could spend a lot of time here. It is $45/hr and they say you who led budget one hour for each player for 18 holes. We will definitely be back!

I have never played golf here…read more With that disclaimer out of the way, let the raving begin! As a wedding venue this is the best! Danielle is the wedding coordinator and from the start she makes it seem like she'll bend over backwards to make the day however you want it, and then she does! The layout of the dining room is neat because it has a balcony all around the perimeter of it (great for pictures, rowdy guests, kids, etc.) The bar is in the middle of the room, and the middle of the dance floor which ensures everyone stays on the dance floor all night long. The ceilings are extremely high. There's a nice wrap around balcony. The food was phenomenal. They charge one flat rate per guest, no negotiating up or down which makes everything really easy, and for that flat rate you get a lot more than you would other places. I won't go on and on but if you're venue hunting, check this place out. If the venue doesn't sell itself, Danielle's warm, easy to please manner will make the decision easy. As an added note, I have a friend who organizes his company golf tournament here every year and had equally positive things to say about them. 5 big stars!

This experience went pretty well, and the one employee on site did make some effort to assist people for a little bit. Ultimately the company had a good experience, though I wasn't a fan of the actual axes (the grips seemed slippery and the blades were dull) or targets (dull axes would bounce off the areas of the targets that hadn't been hit a few times already) or the relative lack of guidance (multiple times people walked towards their target while the person standing next to them prepared to throw).
