I decided against complaining, as my perception was the cut I asked for wasn't going to be something I could achieve here...though the barber was confident and said he could do the basic fade I asked for. The classic/old school barber environment was cool and I didn't mind the classic rock music either. The barbers working here obviously had been cutting hair for a while. Unfortunately one of the other barbers not cutting my hair seemed to have endless rude comments about women in the workplace and "their proper roles" which I personally decided to just ignore as ignorant "conversation", but feel it's important for others to be aware of before choosing to book with this shop. I'd say a basic buzz cut would have probably been a "safe" option, but not what I'm looking for in a haircut. The cost is low which caught my attention, but I'd gladly spend more elsewhere moving forward.
