Fast forward to post corona era, and she was the first one to call as I found myself in BR again. We went over her availabilities as she was getting overbooked already and I got an appt for today, May 27th at 4 pm. I put it on my calendar and didn't think about it twice. To make it to my appt, I changed a work shift and got to the salon at 3:55pm. However I was shocked to hear that I was not on the books at all. Then Kayla looks further in her "calendar" and tells me my appt is magically made for June 17 at 3:45. And when I explained to her I had to miss work to be there today as this was the day and the time my appt was made for, She attempted her best to make weak excuses about being super busy and catching up on previous appts, and most importantly if I would like to keep her June appt as she has too many clients looking for an appt. Well I'm sure glad that she does, because I won't be one. Ms. Kayla please go ahead and cancel my appt for "June 17." I prefer not to have someone unprofessional like you touch my hair. I went in for a hair treatment and…read moreblowout - I asked Melissa to give me a treatment for my dry scalp and she just recommended the deep conditioner knowing i needed the scalp treatment. Melissa was the only person available for a blowout and that's the only reason why i saw her. My hair was completely straight after my blowout. Not a single curl. She then had to use the curling iron to give me curls and i knew my curls were going to drop within the hour because i only wanted my hair curled through a blowout. After leaving unimpressed with my hair i noticed my scalp was completely dry and flaky. It's never been that dry before. I go back i side and talk to someone else who recommended i buy a scalp treatment and apologized because i should have gotten it before my blowout by melissa. I'm not a hair stylist. I'm not the one who is supposed to know ow what's best for a dry scalp, if I'm asking my stylist what is best she should know to recommend the scalp treatment. I accidentally tipped her an amount way too large and didn't even notice until i got home because i was so pissed off. My scalp is so dry and my hair is completely straight. Not a single curl.
