I get my hair done by Owner Alisha And have been for faithfully for a little over a year now. I don't want to go to anyone else now that I've found her. My mother has hair artist Jess knowles and she has been going faithfully to her now as well. I love the hair products that they have for aftercare. Top notch products and the best part is that Alisha supports local artists and also sells those things in her salon. Items like candles that smell amazing, earrings, key chains and more!

Laura apologized and said she would try to work him in. He is not from town. Waiting around in the Mall area, we receive a call around 2pm saying they cannot take us at all as Laura is running late. So we waited 4 hours and then told they would not accommodate him. I will not recommend your salon anymore to anyone else. It is not a professional, courteous salon nor a stylist who puts clients first.

I have been to DuoTones three times. Twice for a hair cut, and once for a lash lift. The hair cuts…read morewere fine, well worth the price even if I didn't quite get what I was looking for. But I was surprised by my negative experience when I went for a lash lift. When booking, the website lists the price as "starting at $60". Understandable, I figured there would be additional charges depending on what services you choose. No where in the booking process was a final price listed, nor was one provided to me when I arrived for my appointment. After my appointment, I discovered I had apparently be assigned a high level lash tech who would cost double what I had been expecting at that $60 price. When I sent an email to the manager, uncomfortable with the sudden switch up, she wrote me and admitted that they only had one lash tech at the moment. So no one was ever going to get the $60 price listed on their website - every single person who booked would be paying that higher price, without ever being told this was the case. Not only is this bait and switch illegal according to the FTC, it's just plain crummy business practice. Too bad, since all the ladies working there seemed lovely. If you go, just practice good Buyer Beware strategies and be aware a fast one might be pulled on you.

Stylists are well informed about all things hair and kept me entertained. Right away upon greeting I was offered a choice of drink between water or coffee, and every worker I encountered was willing to go out of their way for what I might need. I had a friend stop by to visit me midway through and they made both of us feel so welcomed, immediately offering her a beverage as well. Comfy couches and salon chairs for seating. Had a brief idea in mind for what I was going for look wise and my stylist worked wonders. I went in for a balayage transformation and walked out satisfied. Katie is awesome and had great recommendations that catered to my specific hair length and care needs! Will be returning in eight weeks.

I use to go to cost cutters and I didn't know how bad my hair was cut until my mom seen my hair ( shes a retired beauty shop owner and use to cut my hair), and she suggested I shop around. I met Sue Jones at Beaners Central and decided to go to her to get my hair cut. It took Sue 45 minutes to correct what Cost Cutters messed up. I couldn't be happier with the attention to detail that she gives to her customers and is exactly what my mom did in her 22 years as a beauty shop owner.
