“Scott is such a great dentist and the office is built as to be perfect for young children who might have an aversion to coming to get their teeth cleaned.”

Where do I even start with how much we love this office... Dr. Popat, Bansi and the entire staff…read moreare absolutely amazing! Not only are they extremely knowledgeable but they are truly the most caring and patient practice out there. They somehow make even the hardest appointments a fun and happy experience. My 5 year old son needed extensive dental work done and it was recommended by another practice that he be put under general anesthesia to complete the work. Naturally, I was concerned about putting him under at such a young age so I reached out to Dr. Popat for a second opinion. He was beyond helpful and reassuring about the amount of work that needed to be done. He was able to complete it all in a few visits with just laughing gas and local anesthesia. They made everything so comfortable and relaxing that my son had no clue there was ever a needle or scary tools involved. He gladly went back to each appointment without any hesitation! Also, as a parent there is a level of guilt you feel when you find out your child needs dental work done. I felt like I had failed my son even though we were doing everything we could to try and keep his teeth in good shape. Dr. Popat was so kind and had zero judgment whatsoever. He also explained to me that there are other factors that can contribute to these issues. I definitely felt a huge sense of relief and less guilt after speaking with him. They have also helped me with my replacement retainers and had them done much quicker than anywhere else I have been in the past. Once again, they go above and beyond for all of our dental and orthodontic needs. My kids are actually excited for their upcoming cleanings! Such a relief compared to our past visits elsewhere. I highly recommend!

We brought my 5-year-old daughter in to get three cavities filled. After administering nitrous oxide, Dr. Rocheleau gave her a numbing shot, followed immediately by a second injection. When my daughter naturally squirmed a little bit--a completely expected reflex for a terrified toddler facing back-to-back needles--Dr. Rocheleau abruptly refused to finish the service and walked out on her. We deliberately chose a specialized pediatric practice expecting professionals trained in child behavioral management and gentle guidance. Giving up entirely and abandoning a five-year-old patient over a minor flinch is completely unacceptable for a pediatric dentist. If a provider cannot handle a single instance of a child moving, they have no business practicing pediatric dentistry. I am taking my daughter elsewhere and will make sure our insurance is not billed for incomplete work.

1 Star I am…read moreextremely disappointed with our experience at Paseo Ranch Pediatric Dentistry. My daughter has two very large cavities that require treatment under anesthesia due to her sensory issues, and her procedure was just canceled last minute because the office did not receive the medical records they were requesting, it is especially frustrating because I was given a piece of paper with instructions to fax the medical-record requests to all of my daughter's doctors and specialists myself. I was essentially expected to coordinate the records between multiple medical offices on the dental office's behalf. I did everything I was asked to do, including sending the faxes, calling and emailing her specialists medical records department but the doctors' offices did not respond to the requests in time. Even my daughter's pediatrician's office commented that it was unusual for the parent to be responsible for coordinating and obtaining these records rather than the dental office handling the requests directly. I completely understand that medical clearance and records are important before anesthesia, and I want my daughter's procedure to be as safe as possible. However, I do not understand why the responsibility for obtaining records from multiple specialists was placed on the parent, especially when I had no control over whether those offices responded to the faxes. The most upsetting part is that my daughter's procedure was removed from the schedule at the last minute, despite the fact that she has two significant cavities that need to be treated urgently. Now she has to wait even longer for necessary dental treatment because of an issue that was outside of my control. As a parent, I did everything I was asked to do. I expected the dental office to work with her medical providers to obtain the necessary information rather than putting that responsibility entirely on me. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and has caused unnecessary stress and, most importantly, an additional delay in my daughter receiving the treatment she needs.
