I first met the owner Ira in Joshua tree. I was immediately drawn to his gregarious outgoing personality , so when he told me he had a barber shop in Yucca I was all about it. I've been coming here since he first opened and have had haircuts by michelle, corinne, and my personal favorite Sarah. Since my first time here many years ago, I have never gone anywhere else up here in the Morongo basin. Highly highly recommend. read more

This is a great shop. The barbers are awesome and the inside is sick. They've got some great painting on the walls and usually have music bumping in the front. I've had my hair cut by 4 or 5 different guys and 2 or 3 ladies and they've all done a great job. Most recently my son chopped off all of his long hair. Quan did it amd it looked amazing when he was done. Ira, the owner is a legit guy. Will definitely continue to come here and support this place. I'll get some pics next time as well. I went in today to fix a bad haircut that I got somewhere else, it was bad...I called in to ask if they'd be able to help and the they were so nice and accommodating. I made an appointment came in and immediately felt safe in my hairdressers hands. Shout out to korianne, she left my hair exactly the way I wanted it. Nice haircut. But the music and "artwork" don't really make me feel comfortable. It made me want to get out asap. But a good haircut.

I sat in there for over an hour with no acknowledgment from 3 barbers. They took person after person that came in after me. As I finally got tired of waiting I got up and left and no one said anything to me on my way out. Today was bring your child to work day! Didn't have the barber shop experience no hot foam or hot towel for the face no razor line up here. Was confused at the pricing. One dude was $12 next guy was $15 I'm near bald but mine was $20. Dirty shop old Matts Needs some love. This place just needs some TLC. TVs we're hung but not on facing anyone. No management present. You can't expect your barbers to be the whole crew. You owe your renters a decent set up. Watched 8 people walk away because you could not get the timing down. Everyone was 45 min with 8 people in line. Then scheduled folks just walk in. Receptionist needed. This could easily be bad as shop. Oh and I didn't even like my cut too boot read more

I Just moved up here and was terrified to find a new barber. I called here and Jose answered and said he could help me. I dropped in and talked to a few people. Good barber feel. I am always nervous to get my hair cut Because it's been jacked up so many times. I have a flat spot on the back of my head that I'm very self conscious about. Juan was very confident he could do the job and do it well. And he was right. He did a fantastic job. It was the best hair cut experience I've ever had and it seems to be no challenge for him. My son has gotten his hair cut here a few times. The barber was nice I would have given them five stars but every time I call up there the staff is always unaware for what's going on in the shop. If you ask someone if a certain barber is in they tell you "I don't know where they at. And I can't tell you if they are coming in today." Or my favorite one I called twice to ask what time they closed that day both times a woman answered and told me "I am not sure what time we close today sorry anything else I can help you with?" How does someone who works at a an establishment not know what time they close?? That incident still baffles me. read more

The owner is one of the friendliest guys you could want to meet, it is obvious that he cares about his staff and his business! There is never enough barbers, expect to wait 45 min at least, consider yourself lucky if you can make an appointment because seems like you need to know the barbers and their # to make one. This is a nice shop with good vibes. I've tried 3 barbers out of the 5 not including the owner. The first time I cut my hair it was with the woman on the end. She did an ok job but left my sideburns from the side to my earlobes which was weird because I got a zero on the sids. The second time i came in for a hair cut she was the only seat open but was text on her phone and looked like it was an inconvenience for her to take me. She had this very upset look on her face. So I said don't worry I'm waiting for the guy on the other end. Not sure if she was having a bad day or that is just the way she is. In a customer service industry you must leave everything at the door and put your work face on. So fare I like the guy with the blonde dreadlocks in the middle. Walked in and had no wait! Went to get my boyfriend's hair cut, it was in bad shape and needed spruced up and re vamped! He usually goes to great clips or something like that, but my borther and dad suggested we get cut studio since they went a few weeks earlier and loved it! The shop has such a cool vibe. I love the mural on the wall. There was a fresh coffee bar with lots of flavored syrups. I didn't catch the name of the guy who did my boyfriend's hair but he did AMAZING! The price was so reasonable, only $15! The stylist was quick but took time where is was needed and used some nice products on my boyfriend. The shop owner was there and so friendly! My boyfriend said he won't go anywhere else now. A female stylist walked in and asked my brother and I if we had been helped the second she got through the door. Recently gave a review about the unfamiliarity of the operating hours. Fast forward a month later, and now it is to the point where you will more than likely only find a single barber, who is only taking appointments that people make with them directly at some point earlier in the week, and to provide the services for the business. Identifying this fact, I make a trip out of my way to attempt to make an appointment and was told by one of the barbers that I would be taken care of at 1:00 pm the next day (today). I show up 20 minutes early for my appointment, only to sit there until 1:40 pm to find that they are not coming in today. But once again, only one barber is working today (only to find them flip the sign to closed at 1:30 pm even though the posted hours state you are open until 5). Such a shame as there were plenty of people waiting and eventually got fed up and walked out due to the long wait, or people who saw the closed sign (3.5 hours earlier than what is posted) while I was waiting for a hour for my appointment that never took place. read more

Hello, came in for a quick hair cut, yea it was fast. The guys that work here are super cool. The girl Sara cut my hair. Maybe was a bad day for her. Idk. She seemed a little bitchy. The hair cut was ok. She missed some hair around my left ear. I wanted my hair super short around the back an around my ears. An left some hairs on top of my head longer. Telling me I was going bald. An I need the hair there. I feel like I have a Mohawk now. I'm going to go get my hair finished somewhere else. Size 3 on top. An a 2 on the sides. Not hard. Ronnie did such amazing work on my boys! I have one boy that is picky and he has motor ticks involving his head...that didn't bother Ronnie all.
