This place is the real deal, by which I mean that the barbers are professional barbers. They use scissors to give your haircut and all the various shaving soaps and pomades you'd expect from a trip to the barber. The barbers take their time to do a haircut you are happy to pay for. The first time I went in, Richard gave me the best haircut I've gotten since moving to California and it's only gotten better each time, so I get the best haircut I've ever had each time I go in. Every visit I make finds at least four people ahead of me and often father/son duos, so expect to wait if you're a walk-in. You can solve your own problem by getting your barber'scard and scheduling an appointment because they will work with you. So if your barber is mediocre, disappears on you, or your usual shop just isn't there one day, West Side Cuts is for you. Do yourself a favor. read more

Richard was attentive and super careful while using the straight razor on my 7 year old son, and I am so happy to finally get him the cut I had tried repeatedly to get from other barbers. Mel took care of my husband, who needed a haircut and some beard work. Mel edged him up really nice and I couldn't be happier with his haircut. The friendliness and attention that these two gentlemen pay to detail is what will bring us back from now on, the fades are impeccable, and they really go a step beyond what is expected. Westside cuts is by far my favorite barber shop, Mel is very humble and professional. He's a perfectionist that takes the time to give you the best haircut he can. I arrived at 4:43 on the dote when i walked up to the door the 2 workers where laughing. I tryed opening the door and he said we are closed. Granite the sign says 5pm closing. I said it's only 443 and he just said we are closed rudly. If your going to post open until 5 plz be open until 5 and don't waste people's gas money. Super disrespect young man. read more
