We have special needs children who are dependent on electricity for health reasons. The only person who would answer our call was Dependable power. Joshua came the same night and determined that the metal bar in our panel had been burning for a while, which explains why we would lose power sometimes when our heater turns on. Josh got power on the same night and come the following morning with a generator to start work. We are so fortunate, while he worked, we had electricity for our medical equipment and fridges. I feel that we got a great deal on the work. The panel project solved several issues we have had since we moved into the home and we are in a much safer position and, of all the places you want to feel safe, it's your home. Thank you so much to sam and joshua. Our inspection passed first time and our power is still on without interruption.

I couldnt be happier with the service and value Dependable Power provides. It is so nice to have a tradesman you can trust and that produces quality with great pride and attention to detail. Josh and Sam will be the only ones I ever call for all of my electric needs! 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

He spent 45 minutes installing it and when I asked him how less than an hours worth of work equates to $800 he snarked back "what - do you want me to take longer?" I again stated how expensive it was and that I didn't think it was a fair and he responded "welcome to the world of HVAC" and that "he doesn't charge by the hour". He later went on to state that there was a lot of work he had to do including picking up the part and filling out paperwork to get reimbursed for the motor. I'm sorry, but that's the cost of business. I was willing to accept the fact that he charged 50% higher rate for a diagnosis than my usual HVAC company because I needed help immediately, but he straight up lied about how "labor intensive" this project was. I do not recommend using this company. I wrote a review yesterday to which he defended himself by stating that he spent an hour on the phone with Carrier to order the part - that is a lie. He sat on my couch and called them from my house and my camera shows that he was here a total of one hour for diagnosis and 45 minutes for installation. He lied about being located in Royal Oak to me also - and Jason, before you claim you didn't say that, I have it on video also. This guy is as dishonest as they come.

When I called back to confirm the cancellation, the person on the other end chose to blame her AI system, then the call service... not an apology, not trying to rectify it... just a 3 day late appointment and an attitude. 2 stars because people on the phone were very nice... but it would have been great if they kept an appointment or their word on the phone in 85 degree weather. For reference, here is my experience: - booked appointment last night due to the emergency nature, agreed to pay additional cost for a service call - right after, I received a confirmation email - considering how everyone else in this business seems to see appointments as suggestions, I decided to call in and confirm just to be sure at noon (apt from noon to 4). - person on the phone who was great told me that he saw the appointment but there wasn't anyone assigned to it. He said he couldnt do much but he would call dispatch urgently and then get right back to me. - an hour later (25% of the appointment window), I hadent heard back so I called back again. - the weekend scheduler (who was very nice) was unable to see anything or transfer me to anyone else. So on a long weekend, 85 degree weather, air conditioning out and set an appointment with $170 weekend service charge (give or take) scheduled, we didnt call anyone else assuming that this company kept its appointments. Happy Labor Day to you too!!!!!!!!

OK, no problem - we reschedule. On the morning of appointment, he called and wanted to reschedule again as the ground was wet and needed to be trenched. I told him I really needed it completed, so he sent out one of his guys. He didn't have to trench like we originally thought, and work was completed. I had them do additional work to get shed up fully up to date with code, and work itself was clean and neat. His billing is fraudulent. He overcharged me over $400 from his quote for that part of the work. His tech was originally overcharging me over $1000 more, until we called and he recalled his quote to me, but still tacked on these extra charges. Then I'm told it's a 3% CC charge and when I finally got the invoice, they charged me 4%. And then his original quote was trenching the 15' or so, and the line was in conduit they just had to pull through? I called Danny several times and left messages, and texted him several times over the following few weeks, and no courtesy of a reply or callback. I filed a complaint with BBB and he didn't respond to them either. So disappointing that he ripped off a senior. Shame on me for not getting it in writing ahead of time. But there's no possible way I can misunderstand his statement of "All the pool work and retrenching and replacing wiring to the shed, $975, or if we have to retrench to the house it'll be $1875." Then to refuse to adjust charge, let alone respond to calls, texts, or BBB complaint? Horrible business practice and would not recommend.
