I contacted this business over a week in advance and told them that I would be coming in from out…read moreof town and would need to leave by 1:00 PM. I was told that there would be no problem. That the job takes about three hours so if I had my truck to the shop in the morning they could have it back to me by 1:00. I had my truck at the shop before 10:00 AM. However, they didn't start working on the truck until 12:00 and I didn't get the truck until 4:30 PM. Next is payment. I was quoted $550.00 for 6.5 foot F-150 bed. When I got to the shop I was asked if I would be paying with cash or card. I chose credit card. I was surprised to see the bill was now $599.00. I was told that there was tax and a surcharge for using a credit card. I was never informed of this and nothing on the web site advises of it. The final straw was after I got the truck home I noticed that they placed a Bullet Liner sticker on my back glass. I paid enough to them. I don't need to advertise for them. They should be partying me. I do not recommend this business to anyone. Stick with the original Linex.

I went into the dealership today to drop my friend off so he could pick up his vehicle, and the owner confronted me about the review, even stating that I had nerve coming back. A woman whom I presume is his wife then also confronted me after I stated there was funny business with the initial charge. They gas-lit me stating that the quote was accurate because the part cost $100 more. I have a copy of the invoice which means they would have originally estimated the part for $4.61. If a working power steering pump for a '97 Buick LeSabre for $4.61 exists I would be utterly shocked. I was told I WILL give a 5 star review, but I will not be coerced into lying about my experience.

They don't do a good job of record keeping there. But it's a country place. So I assume it's talented mechanics but front office still operates in an outdated manner. Either a way, it's farmville. i'd dinged the left-rear turn signal on my old truck on a rainy day and cracked the plastic…read more bought replacements and attempted to install them myself. the wire colors of the new lights and what was coming out of the truck were way off. only one i could be sure of was the ground. i took a guess, wired it up and... nothing. then i realized i'd shorted out the front signal, too. checked the fusebox under the steering column but they were all good. before i had brake lights & signals, even if one was cracked. now i had nothing on the passenger side, front and rear. called thunder road late on a friday and the owner (i think his name is terry) answered and tried talking me through at 7pm but the wire colors were again an issue. he said he was three weeks behind but if i brought it over, he might be able to squeeze it in and get it out quickly. on monday, i did that. a young man recognized the truck, having seen it around town. she gets a lot of comments every time i go out. i explain the problem and he says he'll get to it. i took off with family to run errands in knoxville for a few hours. later, terry called and said he wouldn't finish it today. "no worries," i replied. he asked about the truck and i told him it was a 1993 318 magnum with a modified nv4500 manual on the floor and the body of a 1976 warlock on top. "it's a custom?" he wondered. "guess you could call it that," i replied. welp, his insurance company doesn't like customs and have hassled him in the past about it. while they'd never know by looking at it, terry didn't want it hanging around. i got there as quickly as i could. when i arrived, he and his assistant were laboring on it below the sun at 90 degrees and continued to labor with good humor for an hour to get the lights and even a new horn in and working. instead of telling me to come and get it out of his face, he jumped on it and fixed it. then he only charged $90 for a rush job. there are few people alive who would've handled me and my dharmapocalyptruck like the men at thunder road handled us. that's because there are so few who actually care about other human beings. these guys are blessings. thank you for helping me, terry!
