What a day Ran all over LA, hit Canter's, the Flower District, Chandler, then BAM curb-rashed my rim flipping a U-turn. Flashbacks to my old Altima days hit hard. I called everyone - Arman's, DS Mobile, LA Wheel Repair, O Tires - no one had the tools or that "we got you" energy. I needed resurfacing, filling, repainting, and a real finish. Then came the save: John at North Hollywood Auto Repair pointed me to Custom Wheel Refinishing. Joe understood the assignment. Walked in, shop was spotless, team was locked in, and the energy? On point. No hesitation, no patch-up nonsense - Joe revived that wheel like it was fresh off the showroom floor. Sand, smooth, fill, match, clear coat - BOOM. You'd never know I messed it up. Top-tier service, fast turnaround, and way beyond expectations. Worth every penny. If your wheels need work, this is the spot - Tell them @peternapolii sent you. read more

I was referred to Andre at Custom Wheel Refinishing. From the very first text Andre was communicative and clear in terms of the cosmetic refinishing process. Once I brought in my 2020 VW GLI, Joe was incredibly helpful in navigating the authorization and payment with the insurance company. Between the back and fourth emails and prompt response time, Joe was a consummate professional and a pleasure to work with. My wheels look brand new, and I couldn't be happier! read more

First (and foremost), the guys at Custom Wheel Refinishing are really cool. I had the pleasure of hearing them work while I waited (and learned a thing or two about rims & suspension). Secondly, these guys are high-end. They know the whole spectrum of their business. Whatever you need, they'll have the answers. The shop was nice & clean and they treated me like a rockstar despite only needing a cracked rim fixed. I have no reason to go anywhere else for my rims...actually, I look forward to going back. read more

I searched high and low for a service to paint my landcruiser wheels for a custom restoration i'm undertaking. As soon as i got on the phone with Michael i knew i was in the right place. André doesn't know me at all. I called for advice after getting ripped off by Firestone. He not only took 15 minutes to explain what they did wrong and how to fix, he insisted they call him, not me to demand free reparations. They of course refused, but I can't recommend his expertise or morality more. Who today sticks their neck out for others? Not many. If I could award 10 stars I would. read more

10/10! I had dents and deep scratches on all four wheels. They repaired the dents and scratches so well I almost thought they replaced them for a second because of how new they looked! It's a 40mn drive to the valley but completely worth it for the price and quality. read more

These guys are awesome! I found out I had a crack in my wheel after thinking I only had a leak in the tire. I looked up where I could get this repaired and found Custom Wheel Refinishing. I spoke to Joe there and he really helped walk me through the process. Thankfully I went on a slower day for them and they were able to get me out of there within 1 hour with a repaired wheel. They also found bends in the rim which they fixed for no additional charge. Overall, they did a great job with this project and I am looking forward to bringing all 4 wheels to them in the future to have them cleaned up from the curb rash that have been put on them over the years. read more

Okay first of all nicest guys in the business! Not one guy there made me feel like an idiot. Every single person there shook my hand, looked me in they eye, told me what to expect, when it would be done and how much it would cost to get it done. They over delivered! Sincerely they did a beautiful job! My rims look brand new! I don't know how they do it. If the cost was not less than buying new rims I would be easily convinced that they just replaced my old ones with new ones! Thank you Martin Alvarez and team for exceeding my expectations. read more

I bought a brand new car and my rim got scratched on the curb. I thought there was no way my rim could be fixed on my BMW and I was going to have to buy a new one. To my wonderful surprise, I found this shop and called. Albert answered the ovine and he was so responsive, kind, and efficient. Gave me an immediate quote after seeing a picture and I took it in. It was a bad day when I hit a pot hole that damaged both my tire and my wheel. As a newer car that I lease, Honda said that it would only replace not fix and that came to over $600 for the wheel alone. Completely dissatisfied with that solution I asked if there were any other options. I was actually told by my Honda representative to go to this location instead to see if they could straightened out both dents in my wheel. He himself had taken his wheel there when it had cracked and was happy with the results. After calling around it seemed to be the best option and to be honest the most friendly. No appointment needed to be seen and that was so nice due to my busy schedule. I arrived around 3pm and less than an hour later Juan had already fixed my rim. I was able to see exactly what he was going to be doing and he explained it all before he did anything to calm my nerves a bit. I know that with anything there can always be a chance of it cracking but he assured me that he could fix it. Andre was helpful as well. He showed me how my tire was not salvageable as well. It had bubbles and had a hole that you just can't fix. I appreciate the time they took to actually show me instead of just saying something. I am not really an expert on anything mechanical so I appreciate them being open and upfront. A true humble business. So, after finding out that my tire was no good, Andre called around to see if he could order one for the following day. Sadly my exact tire was backordered but he found a comparable tire that would do the job. Thankfully I called around to the Honda dealership down the street and they had one in stock. Andre said that if I go pick it up he will have it installed so that all my tires match. It worked out perfectly and in just over an hour I had my wheel fixed, new tire, and it was installed back on my car. I HIGHLY suggest coming here if you want honest, hardworking, and a true fix to your wheel issues. No shaking since I have driven my car and it looks perfect next to the others. Thank you Andre and Juan! read more

These guys hooked me up with a gloss finish on my factory wheels. Andre was cool. Initially I wanted the kidney grills done too, but he was transparent and told me the paint would probably chip off of the chrome over time. I appreciated that rather than him just doing it and trying to squeeze an extra dollar out of me. I called around to other places and they all quoted me higher rates and said it would take up to 7 days to do the job. Andre and the boys got em done in a day and even texted me when they were ready. I recommended my dad's homie to this place. read more

Andre, Carlos and the team are fabulous. I have a sweet MINI Cooper with aftermarket Enkei wheels that were very beat up. One of them was really horrible after I hit a curb (don't ask), then with all the rain and potholes the other 3 had some interior hits. Andre was so kind, honest and collaborative about what I needed and wanted. The did beautiful work in a short amount of time. I think they fixed all 4 wheels in a couple days. I highly recommend Custom Wheel Refinishing, located in North Hollywood, Ca, my post about this company was long overdue. The way I came across this company is that a couple of the wheels on our car, suffered some road rash and I took the wheels to another location in San Fernando Valley, where they told me they would repair the wheel, but all they did was paint the wheel, needless to say after a couple car washes I noticed the patches of paint starting to come off. After all this I got in contact with Martin over at Custom Wheel Refinishing and he facilitated getting the effected wheels completely resurfaced, not just painted and the finished result I have not a word to describe, except EXCELLENT!!! Thanks Martin and the outstanding crew over at Custom Wheel Refinishing in North Hollywood. read more

I typically do not write reviews, but I have to for this establishment. I hit a pot hole and bent my two front rims. I have a custom color on my rims and there is no paint code to match the color. The color of my rims are a blueish, gray color. I could not find any other place that could color match until I found Custom Wheel. I dropped off my car Thursday morning and the car was ready Friday morning. Andre even pressured washed and detailed my rear wheels as well for no extra cost. The color matching was flawless and they look like brand new rims. I would highly recommend this establishment. Great craftsmanship and most importantly great customer service. Thank you Andre. read more

I found this place on here on YELP and thought I would give it a try since its close to home. I have an old 1974 Toyota Celica that has steel wheels that needed repainting. I was quoted a price after being asked what the application was being used for. When I returned to pick up the wheels, they looked nice from a far. After careful inspection, i noticed they did not sand some areas of the wheel and the paint has runs/blemishes. There was also over spray. When I inquired, He told me- "I asked you what you were using the wheels for. Based on that, I quoted you a price. I am not repainting these wheels." He did agree to touch them up - but the blemishes are still present. I wish I could post pictures here so you can see. I am not satisfied with the way this job was done, handled AND not corrected. My advice - When you get a quote - ask them - What level of quality will this price give???? read more

I pulverized a huge softball sized rock with my front wheel, and the outcome for said wheel was disastrous. The awesome guys at Western Tire referred me to Custom Wheel Refinishing, and the master craftsmen at CWR took my wrecked wheel and made it run like new; no joke, perfect metrics on the wheel balancing instrument. Juan is a magician, Andre is awesome to deal with and I could not be happier with their services and prices. Cheers! read more

Custom Wheel Refinishing - Believe it or not, this wheel was resurrected back to perfect rotational specs. Thanks, CWR! - Tires Near Me - North Hollywood, California

Went to see Andre and Phil at Custom Wheel Refinishing after a giant pothole on the 5 freeway in Burbank. Recommended by the boys at Western Tire (Burbank), I headed over there and talked to Andre about the bent rim, and he explained all options. He quickly made a few phone calls to see if they could find a used replacement so that I had an option to repairing the wheel. He also explained that there was a chance that the alloy could crack, so that I had that in mind prior to taking a cent from me. (If it cracked, no charge). I picked up the wheel today, less than 24 hours later and they reinstalled it on the car. NO PROBLEMS. Wheel rides like new- no shake in the front end (as that was a possibility he explained before we got started) and I was outta there in under 5 minutes. They also refinish wheels too. I highly recommend Custom Wheel if you need to repair a bent wheel. read more
