Based upon a recommendation from a neighbor who had NCA Carolinas construct their home's addition,…read morewe contacted NCA Carolinas for a sunroom addition. A representative came out with an architect to discuss our project. They left after a short while, with the promise that the next step was to be the architect contacting us with some sketches. Never heard back from either the architect or NCA Carolinas. Our next door neighbor also had NCA Carolinas come out for their project, and the same thing - they never heard back from them again. All we can assume is that our home additions were not large enough project for NCA Carolinas to be bothered with. The fact that we never heard back from them speaks volumes about their service. As such, I can not recommend NCA Carolinas for any project.

Whatever you do, DO NOT use Rumble Bee Roofing. 4 years after getting a brand new roof we noticed…read moresubstantial leaking into our attic and onto the drywall above our son's bedroom. We texted & called them to help & they said it would be $3400 to repair it. We posted a negative review & they offered to fix it as they wanted our review to go away. We appreciate them agreeing to fix it at no cost but then their top roofer didn't fix it properly (see video). The owner assured us the job was done right this time but we learned in conversations they did not put flashing on our roof & didn't repair any with the new roof either. Two months after the attempted repair the leaking got worse so we contacted other contractors to assess & learned they just piled up sealant & added a screw (see video). Now we have to pay $6500 to repair it. Mike McNally is ignoring my calls as is his son. We selected them over another roofer & we regret it. No flashing. Just slapping down shingles. Ridiculous. Incompetent. Nice people but this is wrong.

Power Washing-cannot beat the quality and price and detail: Had Mr. Shannon (Shannon Newcomer)…read more704-497-0963 (can text or call) come out and pressure wash my driveway and house and beat other peoples quotes. It is his policy. For the house Power Washing alone for my 2-story $2300 sq. foot house, it was $170. One neighbor paid $240 and another $320 last year with inferior equipment (saw them do it) and inferior spray power. They did arrive in a nice fancy truck with "Power Washing (I will leave out names) printed on it though. Shannon even told me he would meet or beat any price where someone uses comparable powerful equipment that can reach the height and has the spray power. He will use ladders if need be but seldom does. He also did my deck last year along with repairs. Never met anyone who would beat the price and do a better job and he even came back with a ladder, as there was a spot that I was so nitpicky about. I am a bit of a perfectionist on some things. He also got way up there 24 feet and painted a round decorative piece of wood on topmost of house and cleaned the gutters. I am not related to him in any way. He also has quite a few other skills I have been told. A friend of mine turned me on to him and used him for 15 years.

I think this company (owner - Joshua Chisom) has failed on more than just one front…read more I hired this company to install a new gutter/downspout on one side of house, and to make repairs and adjustments (including installing a splash guard) at several locations on the existing gutters. Location for repairs/adjustments were pointed out in advance. The gutter installer who came to work, per his statement, has worked in this trade since 2008. When the work was completed he told me not to test the work immediately after since sealant was applied. Next day I discovered the following: -Newly installed splash guard diverted water right over the top of gutter -Leaking at one end cup was not fixed -While fixing one problem at a location that required an adjustment, the gutter installer opened up a gap in the bottom of the corner piece. This spot was leaking now. On the 2nd visit the gutter installer, among other things, replaced the corner piece - the next day showed leakage on both sides of this replaced corner piece. The gutter installer has not come anymore. Now I had a newly created leakage problem that still had to be addressed. This is where this company failed: 1.Attitude - installer, generally speaking, did not care if he fixed my problems or not (whereas, when I pay, I expect someone to fix my problems). For him it was like - I worked on this and that, and now I can leave. On his 2nd visit when I asked "Do you guaranty that there will be no leaking" he said "I'm not ashamed to come to fix if it leaks". He failed to come to fix leaks. To mention, I had a pleasure to be called "dude" by this tradesman in face to face interactions. 2.Quality of work - the new gutter/downspout combo did not have a drop outlet. I believe it's considered a substandard work. The size of the downspout was not the one that was listed on the estimate. Few nails were left in a gutter. A newly installed splash guard that was diverting water over top of gutter had to be re-positioned on the lip of gutter during the 2nd visit. Replaced corner piece leaked on both ends. All in all, quality was not there. 3.Integrity - This company does not care if they perform the work they have contracted. Seems they do not care about the quality of work they give. I filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau, and asked to give me $200 partial refund for the leakage problem that they have created. Owner Joshua Chisom agreed to provide a refund but never actually made a refund. There is no integrity here!
