One hour later at 9:03 P.M., a representative named Brendon gave me quotes on two lines of film. The "color stable dyed film" came with a three-year warranty; the higher quality "carbon film" came with a lifetime warranty. Brendon included their prices at the end of his message. At 9:13 P.M., I clarified that I need tint removal. Brendon replied minutes later saying that removal fees are included in the prices he quoted me. Then, he politely requested that I let him know whether I would like to schedule an appointment and thanked me. It seemed as if we were having a little misunderstanding. I provided additional clarification that I do not want to replace the tint after having it removed. Brendon apologized for the misunderstanding and gave me a new quote for just the removal. I also requested that his mobile service fee be included in the quote. I told him how far I lived from his business, and several minutes later he provided that information. I did not send another reply until May 12, 2021 at 7:10 A.M. I asked when he would be able to stop by and remove the tint. Not long after, Brendon said he could be at my home within an hour. We confirmed the appointment. Brendon arrived at my home on time and began work. Approximately 15 to 20 minutes later, he finished. There were no issues throughout the process nor during our encounter. I would hire Brendon again.

When I got there they tried to up charge me an extra 40 bucks per window to have the tint match all the way around. When going back and forth with the wife at the front not understanding why there was an up charge for matching the tint. The husband decided to make his way over and insert himself in our conversation. When his wife tried to talk he shut her down and wouldn't let her talk. He did it three times. I couldn't take it anymore. As if she wasn't allowed to talk unless he said it was ok. Ladies you probably have been in a relationship with a guy that verbally abused you. Well it was clear to me he didn't know how to handle himself or treat his wife. Poor thing. I had to stand up for her even though I didn't agree with the price gouging. No man should shut his wife down like that or anyone for that matter. I could only imagine he was behind closed doors.

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE NEW BOERNE LOCATION!…read more First time visit! A few mornings ago, a flatbed trailer being pulled by a pick up on the 1604 unknowingly flung a rock behind it, cracking my windshield. Luckily, the chip was smaller than the size of a nickel, which is a pretty standard guess that it can be repaired without having to replace the windshield. I found Glass Dawg online and called for pricing as there is this Boerne location and pretty close to my job. The gentleman who answers the phone is very professional and patient and says a technician will be available in the afternoon but will have that person call me as soon as their current job is completed and the cost will be $65. Ryan calls from the Boerne store to let me know they are ready. Sweet! I drive there and find it in an industrial area of Boerne, other warehouses and businesses nearby. Ryan comes out to greet me and assesses my windshield. He tells me they should have no problems getting this done quick, but (a disclaimer) does inform me that becs they are applying pressure, can cause the crack to spread and worsen during the repair process, so a total replacement can always be a possibility, but assures me it should be A-OK. He also educates me that such a repair is merely structural and not cosmetic, meaning the damaged glass will be brought back to a solid, strong version of its prior self, but the crack will mostly still be visible. It is but an economical way of avoiding the cost of replacing the windshield. Happy to report that 20 minutes later I am back in my car with a repair that I am happy with. They were able to improve the look of the crack and I am told it is safe for me to head over to a car wash if I like. Was that a hint? LOL! I have to say, everyone there was so nice and efficient at their individual jobs. I am so thrilled that I was able to find a business that could meet my need in a short amount of time, little to no effort done on my part and for a terrific price. Thank you to all of you at Glass Dawg! I hope I never need another repair, but if I do, you will always get first dibs at the job!
