When I inquired why I wasn't "their type of customer, they told me I had an attitude and they were too busy. THERE WAS NOONE IN THE STORE! I am not sure what type of customers they service but they are right, I AM NOT THEIR TYPE OF CUSTOMER. I am a customer that expects to be treated with respect. Very sad. However, I am glad it happened because it led to me to the Christmas Palace on 13th Street! They have way more of selection and the staff is super friendly and helpful! I remember coming here the first year I came to Florida for college way back in 1991 and shopping for souvenirs for my family in New Jersey. 7-Six can fulfill all of your beach needs. Forgot your bathing suit? No problem, they have you covered literally. Need a shirt that proclaims you have been to Ft. Lauderdale? They have many sizes, colors, and styles to choose from. Don't forget that Christmas ornament so when you are back in winter you can remember those sun shiny days. Other items they sell include, shoes, toys, clothes, sunscreen, floats, towels, beach themed decorations, key chains, magnets, home goods, and just about anything else you can think of related to souvenirs and beach gear. The selection is huge and the prices are reasonable. When I visited they were having an amazing clearance sale. T-shirts were being sold for as little $5 and they had a lot of other type of items on sale as well. Even if you are not a tourist it is still fun to browse around here. They have a lot of cute unique things. Hey us locals love the beach too and forget our sunscreen. It is nice to know you can get whatever you need only steps from the beach.

There are a number of plant nurseries on this stretch of Flamingo road and this one is rooted in the Japanese and Chinese style of gardens also known as Zen gardens which are characterized by their minimalist style and rock-and-gravel plant beds. Zensation Gardens sells handmade concrete fountains and sculptures from Bali, an interesting selection of bonsai trees, and indoor and outdoor plants that include bamboo, palm trees, gardenias, orchids, and colorful bougainvillea. They also sell artificial grass and offer landscaping design and installations, and LED lighting for your garden. Follow them on Facebook for dates for their beginner bonsai class.
