Friends of ours had highly recommended them after a similarly great experience, but I wasn't sure if they could help with a basement since their specialty is kitchen and bath. WOW, did they knock the basement out of the park. You wouldn't even believe that it is the same space. From Heather's design ideas to the crew's quick and quality work (Dane and Ryan/Junior), everything was seamless. Dave King, the owner, was on site many of the days offering suggestions to improve the space. He personally went out of his way to make things perfect for us. Usually, making changes on the fly would add $$$ and time, but we stayed on budget while finishing the whole project in two weeks. I'm still in awe of the plumber Mike's effort to move pipes around and truly maximize our small space. Run, don't walk, to Kingswood for your next project! You won't regret it!

Noone came to ask if we needed help. We had our two kids with us and we had no idea what we were getting into. Neither of us has ever redone a kitchen before. Not Y&Q they had no regard for our safety. I chalked that up to a bad experience and decided to give them a second chance. They were recommended by a friend. They may be cheap, but they sure are not easy to work with.

BUY YOUR FURNITURE HERE. THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU…read more That's the short version. Here is the backstory. After 25 years we went back to Perlora Furniture to buy a new leather sofa set. We found one we liked and ordered it in a color that should have matched our living room. This was a very big investment for us. When the sofa arrived it was instantly clear that the color did not match what we meant to buy. Someone from the store drove out to our home, took one look, and said, "Oh. Ewww. I see the problem." But the color number matched what we had asked for. He took a bunch of photos and went back to the store. "The color doesn't look the same here as it does in your house. Our showroom lighting is extremely warm, and I think that could have been what caused the confusion. Let me see if there is anything we can do." A few days later we got a call. "The owners have been on the phone with the manufacturer, and it's settled: you can order a replacement so long as it's the same design with a different color." Oh, the relief! The men came out to take back the first one... and left us with a loaner sofa for the several months we'd have to wait! Totally unexpected, and tremendously helpful because our original sofa had been thrown away. The new one just arrived and it is more than acceptable. Great quality, perfect size, etc. The color is still notably cooler in our well lit house than at the showroom, but we accounted for that with this choice and it is fine. So I repeat: BUY YOUR FURNITURE HERE. THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU. They won't give away the shop or anything, buy you will be treated as an honored customer and not just another sale.

She was very patient, very knowledgeable and super helpful in the process. We were able to go back to Choice Granite and select what sections of the slab would be used and where. The template guy was thorough and accurate. Fabrication was completed on the day they promised and the install team was punctual. They took care not to damage any of the rest of the house during the install process. Worth noting that due to an error on my part, they had to make a second trip to install a part of the countertop. Pricing was reasonable given the scope of work we requested, which included substantial hand-prep for the hearths (curved to fit the fireplace). The install techs are pretty quiet, but I'm paying them to install countertops, not to talk my ear off. They were certainly professional and the install was perfect (incl a seam that was flawless). I can't speak to the old reviews here, but I had numerous interactions with the office staff, the install manager, and the team- everyone was professional and courteous. They delivered exactly what they said they would, and the price I was quoted.

Bonnie and the gentleman there were both so kind, helpful and understanding. They couldn't have been any nicer. They have a huge selection of furniture, both new and used to choose from. You can rent or buy. A lot of furniture at more "typical" stores right now is on back order which isn't always ideal. Some of the used furniture is in better or worse condition than the next which is to be expected since they can't control how someone cares for the furniture they are leasing. The location was easy to get to with a great parking lot right next door. The space itself was immaculate. Everything was clean and easy to see. They explained how they thoroughly cleaned the each item they lease when it gets turned in which makes me feel much better about buying used from them versus elsewhere. It's definitely a great place to check out if you're in the market for new furniture!
