The last time we were here, we got 10 steaks for around $150 and we seriously thought we'd be spending way more. The gentleman helping me knew all of the jargon and which to recommend. I bought the prime rib & a porterhouse with the intent to sous vide and consume it all as a god fearing American. There was so much product from seasonings to perfectly butchered cuts of chicken to lamb to veal to beef. I didn't know they were open on weekends unlike the other places in this shop which are closed Saturday and Sunday. I got the rib eye steak and marbling is just beautiful. Also bought some seasoning packets for the steaks and it was perfect. All the steaks were tender and juicy. Service is great and plenty of parking. I've been looking for my go-to local butcher for ages and I'm beyond happy to finally find a place. This is by far the highest quality butcher shop in the Silicon Valley! There's a wall of spices from local shops and a great choice of cuts from chicken to goat and lamb, beef and seafood. There are pre-packaged cuts in the freezer, and some same day packaged packs in front of the glass case. Everything can be cut to order, you can make the order there and/or call in advance. I absolutely love that they even have dog food made to order as well as home made bone broth. I appreciate and value shops that waste nothing and re-purpose to bone broth and dog food. The owner is so friendly and knowledgeable and you can tell he is passionate about his business and his craft. He's always looking to improve and asks about what you like/liked and what you would like in the future. He will also point out some ways to cook and suggest seasoning. The meat is fresh and never frozen. They mentioned that the beef is delivered overnight from Harris Ranch 3 times a week that's why there is always a fresh cut on rotation. The place is well ventilated, cool, and clean, and the ambience is comfortable with music while you wait for your carving. You can see everything from where you're standing.
