You want fresh meat? You want to season that meat! You must try! Tomahawk NY Wago, Porter, lamb shank-

So happy this is my local butcher shop! I always come here for my special occasion prime rib! Dry brined for 3 days and roasted low and slow -- dare I say it turns out even better than House of Prime Rib. I also love their whole chicken, cut up by Alfonso, the main butcher guy. My husband and I are snobs about chicken -- we like them small, skin -on, and flavorful without being too chicken-y. This fits the bill for us. We literally use up every single part of the chicken. The bones make an incredible chicken stock! Kamal, the owner, and Alfonso both provide incredible customer service. They want you to be happy with your purchase, and are always looking to help you out! The shop interior is also very clean and organized - a must for a butcher shop!

Amazing place.. our go to for all our meat needs for the past two years.. they provide the highest quality, consistently and reliably. We buy their cajun chicken burger patty every single week for protein. The staff is kind, super helpful and goes above and beyond. Kamal, the owner is one of the kindest and most genuine people you'll meet. He actually cares about his customers and making sure they have the best meat available customized to their needs and takes feedback seriously, immediately implementing changes. We've also regularly gotten chicken thigh, wings, curry cut, their marinated chicken and fish that you can pop into the air fryer directly and their ground meat as well.. all excellent. We will be their customers as long as we are in the area. Thank you kamal and team! Indebted to you..

I was nervous about buying meat from a butcher shop for the first time, but the experience here immediately put me at ease. Both the gentleman I spoke to on the phone and the one behind the counter were incredibly kind, patient, and happy to answer all of my questions without making me feel rushed or clueless. I ordered a prime rib and a halal, grass fed ribeye, and both were top quality, beautifully cut, fresh, and clearly handled with care. You can tell they take real pride in their products and their service. The shop itself was very clean and well organized, with a vast selection of sauces and spices, a frozen seafood section, and even fresh dog food available. If you're looking for high quality halal meat and genuinely helpful staff, this place is the real deal. I'll absolutely be coming back!!

I can't say enough good things about this butcher. They carry incredible dry-aged steaks that are cut to order, with organic options that make it easy to choose quality without compromise. The customer service is absolutely stellar--knowledgeable, friendly, and they really care about helping you pick the perfect cut. Since finding this shop, I no longer go to Whole Foods for steak. There is such a huge discrepancy about two of "the same" cuts of steak. The quality here is unmatched, and the prices are even better. If you're serious about steak and want the best in both taste and experience, this is the place to go!

The hub was looking for some primo steaks for a white elephant gift (you read that right!) so first time visit here. Staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. My daughter and I were taken by surprise as goats came in. LOL We walked out with Prime rib eye at great price. They had a good selection of spices too. They vacuum seal vs butcher paper.

Stumbled across this butcher after realizing the meats I had been purchasing weren't high quality. The store was sparkling clean with plenty of parking in an adjacent lot and garage. The three people working behind the counter were endlessly nice and kind in explaining the quality of their meat. Their prices are extremely competitive. They also sell a variety of sauces, marinades, and spices, along with tinned fish. I can't wait to try all the varieties of meats they serve. Customer service alone was five stars. I'll absolutely be back!

It was our first time in a mom and pop butcher shop. The husband and wife are super knowledgeable and were super sweet in answering all of our questions. You can see the personal attention and care they give to the meats and customers. Love that they have prepared and ready to cook items as well!

    Filet

I was so excited to try this place based on reviews and our families love for steak, but it was a let down. We asked for three 8oz filets and when we opened the package there were so many big lines of fat in and around the filets. Thinking the chain wasn't cut off from the filet, but not sure. Hoping it was an off day as we love small businesses, the folks were very nice and we will try again one day.

Being a member also doesn't get you any additional discounts vs non-members. But hey it's free so it doesn't hurt. I'll always support there being more Asian grocery stores in the West Side of the South Bay. H-Mart always had that spot for me, but now it's shared. Mega Mart's marketed as a more premium store, but it does its best when they're running sales. Price between the two are pretty neck and neck. You'll spend anywhere from $70-$200 per trip cuz the small things do add up. They used to have prepped food marked off anywhere from 30-70% off in the final and early hours of the day. Now, it's an inconsistent luck of the draw. However, I've never had an issue with food quality with anything I've purchased whether it be prepped food or raw ingredients. 4/5, solid store. The produce section was not as extensive as those at other Asian markets, but it was still adequate. However, the store carried many unique candies and snacks that I have not seen elsewhere. Notably, sakura flavored products were especially common during my visit. There were two large sections dedicated to premade meals, including rice bowls, hand rolls, onigiri, and sushi. The rolls seemed overly heavy on the rice, with relatively little fish filling. The prices also felt somewhat high for the portion sizes. However, the store offers a 20 percent discount on sushi and bento boxes daily after 6 PM. I ordered the nigiri combination, which included salmon, tuna, and scallop. The scallop was plump, and the tuna was sliced thickly. The salmon was slightly thin but still rich and fatty. Overall, the fish quality was good. The sushi rice was above average, with a distinct vinegar flavor despite being refrigerated. The total cost for the eight pieces was close to restaurant pricing, though the convenience factor partly justified it. I would rate this market a 3.5 out of 5 but rounded up for the good sushi rice. I would recommend shopping elsewhere for produce, but this is a good place for snacks and premade meals, especially after 6 PM.
