They had availability for two weeks later. I wasn't in a rush so I don't mind the wait. I wasn't scheduled for the 12-4 time window. On the day of I had a work commitment that came up last minute. They were very accommodating when I called so I was pushed further back on the timeslot till after 3 PM so I could be home for the service. The technician Isaiah arrived and informed me what he was going to do. Afterwards he sent me a detailed report with photographs of my gutter system. Thankfully, everything looked good and I did not require any additional services after the cleaning and tuneup.

For the first time I realize I had been hearing a fair amount of outside noise (which I'd apparently gotten used to), because these windows/doors are soundproof; now I don't hear anything at all from outside! And even better, the windows are easy to open, and my sliding glass doors actually slide well in the track, and are not shaking and drafty when it's windy outside -- major improvements from my old, builder-grade, 20+ year-old windows/sliding door. Further, the service crew was excellent -- careful, kind, professional, efficient, and they cleaned up everything afterwards. Roger, the foreman, has been doing this work for almost 30 years, and Jose, who single-handedly carried in/out the windows/doors, has been doing this work for 10+ years. I didn't get the name of the quiet third service person who was mostly outside and on the ladders, also very efficient. fyi, they did mention that working on the 4th floor of our condos from ladders was a bit more challenging as the original builder-grade windows had been made to fit by being packed/taped in place from the outside, which necessitated them having to actually break some of the glass to be able to pull the old windows out. But they did it - and did it well. Finally, Shaun, the project manager who gave me my estimate and oversaw the project from estimate, HOA approval process, to completion, was great. Instead of just "making it work" or creating a huge mess with drywall dust, Zach proposed a brilliant custom solution: building a clean birch veneer box with custom trim. It looks stunning and kept my house completely dust-free. What impressed me most was Zach's integrity. During the install, a small piece of my old plastic molding snapped. Instead of ignoring it, Zach took full ownership and replaced the trim on both skylights with upgraded foam-backed wood molding at his own expense to ensure everything was airtight and uniform. Even on the first day he backed his truck up to my garage, balanced on the huge ladder attached to his truck and jumped onto my roof ! HIGHLY unprofessional. He said my service area was bad and asked me to order pizza for his crew....$35.51 which I would have been happy to provide IF he had done a proper job in a timely fashion. I wondered how he was answering calls while here If that was true? I changed Dr. Appts to accommodate George and he would be a no show anyway. After he was finished I discovered at least 4 pieces of totally rotten wood. He had to come back out and remove new roof in those areas plus disturb the new plywood and underlayment. In addition the dam had to be redone as there was an open hole that a bird or squirrel could enter. Now he is stalling on coming back out to "wrap some wood rot" that he missed. He has put me off so many times. He is not ever coming. Today is 6/16/22. That is 3 months for a one day job. I have been bumped by my porch painter a couple of times because of these delays. There is a lot more to tell but suffice it to say you should avoid this contractor. I dug deeper and this is at least his second MHIC#. His old MHIC# turned up even MORE horror stories.
