McCray installed the HVAC systems in our relatively new subdivision. After this hard winter, we…read morescheduled a maintenance check on both our heating and cooling systems. So glad we did! Their office was able to schedule an appointment promptly. They followed up with text and email confirmations and updates on the arrival of the assigned technician. Daniel B, the technician, also followed up before his arrival. He arrived as scheduled and went straight to work. He was very professional and knowledgeable and took the time to explain what actions he had taken and what he recommended for us to do in the future. We are confident that we are prepared for the coming spring and summer weather and then into next winter. We will definitely follow up with an annual check up.

We moved out today and unfortunately, on our last night, the blower on our heat pump (upstairs) failed. I called McCrea and explained the situation...takes FOREVER to get a response! They stated they could be out Monday...after I had just told them we were leaving the state today. I was able to get a tech from B & B plumbing to come out (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) and he diagnosed that the blower failed. It should be under a 10 year warranty if McCrea had registered it when installed. They did not. So it had a 5 year warranty and it was a MONTH over 5 years...and McCrea would not honor the warranty. "The homeowner is supposed to register their equipment". Has ANYONE done that? B&B registers all equipment upon installation. McCrea said they register all equipment upon install BUT NOT ON NEW CONSTRUCTION! Makes no sense and it cost us over $2500 on our last day in the house. They were not sorry, they didn't care at all. DO NOT USE MCCREA FOR ANYTHING! Use B&B- they care. Good luck all!

When considering Comfort Solutions get a competitor quote to compare (you may be highly surprised about the difference) I don't leave reviews unless I have an out of the ordinary experience (90% those reviews are positive) this one not so much. Infact I wasn't going to leave a review, but I believe whoever takes this review serious might find that they can save hundreds (like my case) or Thousands for a new unit install or something of the sort. I recently got some remodeling done on my houses exterior. I have a mini split unit therefore there are exterior pipes on the outside walls. When my contractor replaced the siding, he removed the PVC covers. Corey Leckron (owner) suggested that I get him to replace them. So, I said he could do it. This was in March of this year. He went on to say that they use a sleek design cover as opposed to the bulky kind that was existing. He informed me that it was slightly expensive around $40 for a 8' piece (I would need 6 pieces). The Contractor came and finished my exterior remodel and I notified Comfort Solutions that they could come and install the PVC covers. It was heading into summer during their busy time and I told them it was no hurry as this was strictly cosmetic. In the meantime, 4 people inquired about it and I told them Comfort Solutions were going to install the covers. One of those people were a HVAC guy who said he could do it for $400. I was expecting Comfort Solutions to be somewhat higher from the word I heard from other people. But I already ready gave them my word they could do it. Last week they came and covered it. (See picture on) Now keep in mind there was no other work besides installing covers on existing exposed pipes and running a drain to in my down spout as seen in upper left. Looks good! I think so. I got a invoice that simply said 2hrs work and parts total due $964.00. See picture 2 Wow I figured $600ish because from what I was hearing their prices tend to be 30-35% more than competitors. I honestly felt there was a mistake, so I do some quick research and math on paper. See picture 3. Parts at home depot total $282 and I figure after markup price (lets be real all companies do this) the price is $400 that's a 30% markup which seems like a healthy fair mark up. Then $100 an hr which I think is more than fair assumption, most companies will charge you $60- $65 an hour, however, only came up to $600. I emailed them for itemized bill. I just wanted to see costs I was charged for labor and parts, but Corey was unable to do this, and you can see his response and our correspondence at picture 4. I never had a contractor deny me an itemized bill. Is it a law they must tell you what parts they used and what they charged you? Where in the world did all this expense come from. Well according to Corey it's for services.... I thought that's what an hourly rate is. Maybe the hourly rate in more like $282.... I don't know. I wouldn't know because he can't itemize the bill. Anyhow best thing I can do is laugh about and learn from it. As far as workmanship I have nothing to complain about that, however this could have been a DIY project as not really any HVAC knowledge is needed to screw covers over pipes.

Can no longer recommend!!!…read more I had Hotzople for over 7 years since I moved into my home. I am very very disappointed in how techs handle certain situations and actually found a MAJOR issue in open ductwork in unfinished basement that NO ONE from this company even bothered to look into or do any sort of testing to find out root cause....when I stated that my husband and I smelled musty, dusty smells and were affected by allergies, I was told 'this is normal' and nothing else. ???? You pay almost $400 for their better tier plan for HVAC service, and what you get is little to NOTHING. The tech barely does anything and if you state you have issues, they blow you off. Lazy!!!! I hired another company to install a new system, wasn't about to give this company anymore of my money. They found a cracked UV bulb that Hotzople had replaced, my filter area was jacked and should have been fixed a LONG time ago, and I today found an extra tubing coming off my duct in basement that was never capped off, thus rendering my entire system basically non functional -- at least very wasteful..... I cannot believe this has been for 7 years and Hotzople NEVER once checked for any duct work issues, or anything or ran any tests, I was systematically blown off, these guys do they BARE Minimum and ONLY care about collecting their yearly $s for maintenance. I highly suggest everyone EDUCATE yourself about HVAC before hiring ANYONE, these companies anymore have become greedy, they don't care. I was also told I had issues with my old system, but never was 'shown' WHAT those issues were fully. Trust is a BIG thing if you want to keep your company running....these guys 100% lost my trust and now someone else will be getting my money!

I worked directly with Jerred and he was amazing! He came out (On Labor Day!!!) and 100% saved me. It was warm, and I had a bunch of family in town for the holidays and an extremely hot house wasn't going to work for me. I called Holtzople around 10 am, they answered the phone live (only company I could find that didn't go to VM) and Jerred was out within a few hours. He was very informative and quick (which was important because, no offense to Jerred, I prefer to spend the holiday with my family instead of him) and didn't even charge extra because it was a holiday. Turns out I had a contactor that went bad (he showed it to me... it was literally burnt at the top) and was a pretty quick and easy fix. I am VERY happy with the customer service, pricing and speed of service. If you have an issue (especially on a holiday) make sure to call Holtzople and ask for Jerred!
