Tiftickjian did a great job cleaning them, the stains were still there but now barely visible, the others looked brighter. They looked so much better. Terrible experience! On 1/20/24 I gave a deposit for a kitchen floor that I was told would be…read moreinstalled within 2 weeks. When I didn't hear anything for 3 weeks I contacted the store only to be told that the floor had to be back ordered and would not be available for 6 more weeks! After another 6 weeks, I was called to schedule the installation. The contractor installed the subfloor over my old floor ( even though I was previously told the old floor would be torn up) When the contractor looked at the new flooring it was discovered that it was damaged and could not be installed. In fact the entire shipment was damaged so more had to be ordered and I had to wait several more weeks with just the subfloor plywood in my kitchen. When the new shipment arrived ( weeks later) the contractor ran out of the vinyl because the salesman from Carpet Factory Outlet MEASURED INCORRECTLY!! Thus another waiting period ensued before my floor was FINALLY INSTALLED!!! I was not compensated at all for the major inconveniences I lived with for FOUR MONTHS!!!!

I ended up hiring Niagara Hardwood to refinish my floors. Overall, they did a solid job in 3 days…read morethe quote was reasonable. They kept to schedule and finished the job to let the floors cure. The floors turned out beautiful and I really love the finish and it adds so much brightness to my upstairs. Why the 4-stars? ~~ Although the quote included closets, one closet I noticed wasn't done after they finished the first quote. After I pointed this out to them, they did it, but it only ended up with 2 coats instead of the 3 originally promised. It doesn't look as good in the closets with the 3 coats and overall the closets don't look as nice as the main floors. I also accidentally put a little scratch on the floor when moving some furniture back. I texted them to see if they would fix it and they quoted me a reasonable amount and said they would contact me, but haven't followed up with me yet. I guess they probably forgot and the otis might be on me to try them again. Either way, some small things and overall a wonderful job done! I'd definitely recommend them for your flooring installing/refinishing needs!
