I searched/inquired various locations near my home, reached out to this store's owner(?) two weeks ago in preparation of my close friend's bachelor party and requested order of t shirts so I can surprise him and wear that on Friday night (I know, it's cheesy, but I wanted to make a good memory). He responded telling me to send the file so I've sent it to him hoping to purchase through him. Initially I've received good responses, then the responses got late, later, until to the point where I got worried and constantly followed up on my order. I was contemplating whether I should jump ship, but 3 days before, owner responds saying he is able to do it and gives me a ballpark price, which sounded reasonable, so I committed to wait. In conclusion? Today, the day before my friend's event, he apologizes to me saying his employee is too busy and won't be able to make my order, and 'hopes to do business again in the future'. I quickly made a u turn and found a hidden lil nerd shop (((saying that with much love))). Currently they have a $5 dollars a tshirt (any shirt ) and $15 for hoodies. They can custom make a t shirt or hoodie for you. So I picked up around 6 shirts for love ones for this Xmas. I had reached out and spoke with the owner, Brett , easily we got everything in motion from there. I brought in the actual sweater when I received it and came by the store to drop off the info of what I wanted on the sweater. I did not get the the female that was working the front but she was very friendly with helping me on the sizing and placement of the dogs face and name for the sleeve. Overall, everything was speedy,efficient, and they were communicating to me (Kenny) via email throughout the entire process to make sure things were good to move on to embroider onto the sweater. It's hard to find a place that will do one piece item, a lot of places I reached out to required a minimum __ pieces and up . I messaged them through yelp on a sunday inquiring about the price and they responded pretty quickly despite the shop technically being closed. I was able to make an appointment for the following day on monday and Jason was super cool about showing me all my options and letting me lead with what I had in mind. My stole was done THE NEXT DAY which is crazy because a lot of places said it would take several days or even weeks to complete and I needed it fast because I was taking my grad photos that following saturday. This next part is kind of embarrassing but it must be mentioned...I mixed up their hours and went to pick it up on friday at 5:03pm but they had just closed at 5pm. I panicked because I was literally having people come down to help me with my photoshoot the next day and the shop is closed on the weekends. I called and messaged them on yelp explaining the mistake I made. Karen found my phone number and called me asking if I would be able to come back to their shop later that evening because they would be out all morning the next day. Jason drove back and opened the doors just so that I could get my stole before my pictures.
