I looked first at two advertised roofing companies. The first you see all over. M Quick to quote but definitely inexperienced as the quote included roofing a plastic Rubbermaid shed. (Seriously) Thank you Adam owner of CNYCC for pointing that out. The second on was also higher priced and charged too much for plywood (like double for the same size. Adam was recommended by my best friend who had CNY put on a brown roof which looks great on his house. CNYCC came over explaining the job and looking closely at details such as my outdoor porch. They stood in communication with me. (Text are sent only after they have your permission. So the one bad reviewer needs a lesson on spam texting and the proper use of email and communication ) Give them time to get to you in the spring and summer. We had them come out in the winter. It's definitely worth the wait. They also saved up money over those other two companies. This is family friendly and run business. Paige, Adams wife was wonderful. She kept me informed help me through the financing process, and her communication was outstanding. She told me exactly when they would be coming out to do my roof and they showed up that morning to the exact time she said. Adam gave me an explanation of what they did and how they would proceed that day, which was another reassurance of our previous conversation, so I was completely comfortable. He said one day to take off my old roof and replace any plywood. I didn't believe it. But came 5pm and my wife coming home from work that night and we had a completely new roof with new plywood in places we didn't see at first were bad until Adam showed us on our home. Thank you so much! His crew was so professional. Any nails were picked up with a magnetic roller. I didn't see any in the lawn for my tractor to puncture a tire, which was incredible. Thank you again!! I only saw a few come out of the gutter (that is too be expected). I had my house washed a week after and really have to say the Biscayne Blue on our house has had neighbors complimenting as they noticed an immediate difference. We are so pleased and have complete peace of mind knowing that the investment we made has a warranty we can pass down to our children and labor covered for longer than any other company and is covered even if CNYCC is not available. Ask Adam to explain. He also helped to make our porch, which is our pride and joy, look so much better doing some finishing work after the new plywood was put on per our conversation which in our opinion was going way above and beyond. During process of meeting with contractors, so many characters gave us estimates that were either scarily low, or inflated. Mike and Jay' s rate was fair, and their work is second to none. They were reliable, honored their word, and never cut corners on build quality. Since our house was originally built in the late 40s, they came across some structural issues that really concerned us.. Mike and Jay were understanding to our dilemma and were able to "shore-up" load bearing walls while being always fair with their rate. It was a huge stress relief to know they were on the job and staying within their estimate. Even long AFTER they finished, I had an issue with one of smoke detectors they installed and the same day, they went to home depot and exchanged it for a new one. It's rare to find high quality, great service and fair price in one company, but Fleming Construction nails it. Very friendly admin on phone, she made me feel comfortable as this is "what they do in the off season", roof repairs. Well, "Rick" came right out, climbed up into my crawl space attic (not an easy feat) took a few pix, assessed the situation and identified the problem immediately. He not only advised me what the issue was but made a short term fix (For Free) that he said would last several months or more if I decided not to go with the long term solution at this time. He left and I got the quote same day. I was very grateful for the short term fix and I decided to go with the long-term solution anyway. I left it up to them when they wanted to come back and do it and they said they'd give me a call. A couple of days go by and Rick stopped by with another person during a snowstorm. He said no big deal that's what we do. Two hours later I have the correction in place w/pictures that will last me another 50 years and I couldn't be happier. I also had a part of my patio roof that was made of wood thst had broken off. The Roofing Guys came in and fixed both within a few days and the work is seamless. They even recommended putting vinyl on my back patio roof so it wouldn't need much maintenance. When you look at the roofs you can't even tell anything happened. It's like it's brand new. Truly outstanding experience start to finish which is a breath of fresh air these days.
