He is a very good Doctor very efficient, he does not waste your time but, he is never rushed with patients. He tells you like it is and he is not afraid to change medications that other Drs (specialists) have prescribed for your well being . He uses his keen Medical knowledge and the knowledge of the patient to determine this it seems. He has displayed great incite when issues arise as far as health and Insurance coverages, drug interactions, and the handling and filing( His office) of all the tons of red tape paperwork that are sometimes needed. On one office visit I had a medical emergency and all I remember is him being cool as a cucumber knowing EXACTLY what to do when a few of the nurses seem to be in a panic of sorts . GREAT DOCTOR!

While on vacation I checked in with a relatively small case of cellulitis. I will be checking out with an unaggressively treated case of cellulitis, dysentery, and possibly a MERSA to boot. While all hospital organizations are notoriously apathetic and obsessed with the smell of their own red tape, Novant Health is a stand out of incompetence and lip service. I did have the fortune of a kind nurse who at least SEEMED to be compassionate to my pleas for help once their antibiotics had ravaged my system of all natural Flora and beneficial bacteria. Still my hydration, comfort, and piece of mind were of no consequence to the organization whatsoever. The physician on call in the hospital was perfectly happy to let me check out at 330am to walk to the nearest 7-11 where medical help was more accessible and less fussy. I would suggest if you're in the vicinity of Salisbury NC don't get sick or injured. And if you do, seek treatment in Atlanta, Nashville, or Jacksonville instead. Given the lowly state of the education system in NC, I shouldn't have really expected to be treated by anyone who wasn't concerned about the remote possibility that a trannie might have used the bathroom right before them or that they might catch your contagious homosexuality by breathing the same air you do while performing routine activities like taking your blood pressure. Common sense and compassion are completely absent from the Novant Health System. Pray you get sick above the Mason Dixon line or somewhere in Florida. Patient care is not a priority here.

I ask him "are you positive?" He assured me that was all I needed. When I went back 10 days later as he told me to. He said, "you know, if you had been a professional athlete, I would have done surgery." What I use my wrist/hand for should have nothing to do with it. His job is to do his best to fix it. I walked out. I spent a full year, in pain and unable to use my left wrist/hand. I spent tons of my own money doing PT, seeing other surgeons that told me that I actually needed 2 surgeries, but it was too late. None of them would touch it. Then after nerve tests, I found out I had nerve damage in 3 different areas and needed surgery to fix that. After nearly 2 yrs, I found Dr. Chadderdon with OC who saved my arm. Ginn should not have a license at all, let alone claim to be a hand/wrist Dr.

Starting with parking, that is really great and easy to get to, takes 5 min to get to the ER They immediately put me in the ICU from the emergency check in. From the entry to my discharge I felt really looked after, almost pampered and they really made sure I was taken care of well. The level of personal care, the amount they check on you is more like the old days of a gone by area. The nurses were outstanding in the cardiology, making you feel almost like being at home. Really positive attitudes, lots of laughter and a happy environment. That speaks volumes for the facility and the employment there. Also helpful my cardiologist works there some days and saw me the day after I checked in. The team that performed surgery on me was incredible, funny but to the point and gladly all fears of a blockage were put to rest in 20 min. Amazing, just local anesthesia you feel absolutely noting! Should you need stents, highly recommend the team there, I actually watched the whole procedure on the monitors above my head. Way cool were surgery is today. Discharge was speedy and easy, so was the follow up. Overall I been there 5 times (1 with my daughter and one with a grandchild) and all my experiences were really positive and only the check in nurses can be a little grouchy at times....... But with the stress level they are exposed, I understand, my better half is a nurse so is my daughter so I have a good inside of the industry. Only can recommend the facility, small but with a really great level of service and attention to care for you as a patient. Been with Novant now for 4 years and really can only say positive things about the company as a hole.

The hospital on the other hand, is HORRIBLE. My mother was there for a week, Not once was she bathed, not once was her bed changed, she activated her call light at 10pm to ask for something to help her sleep, they didn't come in til after 12:00 am and then told her they don't do meds after 12 midnight. The food was horrible, a couple of the doctors were horrible and rude, I am her son, Also her POA, and I was not updated or kept in the loop at all, when we were at the rehabilitation center, they called me daily to keep me updated, but the hospital? Not once. I had to message them on MyChart. Next time it's back to Baptist hospital or Forsyth

For the second resheduled appointment with the PA I had a death in my family and needed to go out of state. I was initially told ok to reschedule the second appointment. Ten minutes later I get a call back saying they would not see me for any appointment. Now had it been Dr. Roy or the PA who needed to change my appointment around that would be fine. They book appointments based on what's best for them. We have lives also and I was very offended for them to refuse to see me.

Every day was a struggle just to work at my desk, I got to where I couldn't walk longer than 5-10 minutes at a time due to the radiating pain down my legs and through my hips. Dr. Roy suggested surgery and then insurance denied it. He went to the top of the insurance company and fought for me. We finally got approval, they did the spinal fusion in January of 2019 and 8 months later I've never felt better. Its nothing short of a miracle. Everyone in that building took excellent care of me and they are some of the most caring and most professional people I've ever met. They have changed my life completely and I will never forget.
