I bought a voucher off Amazon and I really wish I could afford to hire him to clean every week. He started in the bathroom as I requested, and did such a great job that my husband said he actually thought we got new shower doors. He's been asking me to hire Gregg again, which we will, once I get our budget sorted out to include one awesome cleaner. Gregg is meticulous. He cleans walls, nooks and crannies, and crayon/dry erase marker off of walls. I've tried Swept Away, Homejoy and Curwick Cleaner and Curwick was the best. Swept Away was also very good, but they are limited in what they can accomplish given they use only environmentally friendly and safe products. Homejoy was pretty bad. He dusts, sweeps, wipes. If you have a kiddie room, you can request he use the Clorox green line of supposedly environmentally-friendly stuff (although Im not the most fond of Clorox for anywhere besides the kitchen and bathroom). FYI - he will also take on work as a handyman. Gregg was on time and stayed even a little extra. We played phone tag a bit but he was responsive and never gave me the impression of being flaky. He is a character though, so if you're looking for someone to shut up and clean, he is not the one :) If you are not horrible antisocial and don't mind someone with a personality cleaning your house who can clean really well, you've found your cleaner. read more

I bought the deep cleaning package for my wife for Christmas, and she loves it! I called Gregg and found him to be very fair, kind, and extremely flexible. In fact, he offered to come to our place at 4am on a Sunday if we wanted. We chose not to go that route, but it was good to know it was an option. He cleaned my apartment carpet, floors, windows, bathroom ceiling, computer monitors...it's ALL done. I'm happy. My wife is happy. My kids are happy. Everyone in the apartment complex is happier. When he showed up (on time) on the appointed day, he arrived with poinsettias! I'm not a flower guy, but my wife loved them. If he was looking for brownie points - er, flower points, he found them. I purchased their 3-visit offer on Amazon Local and soon contacted Gregg to schedule our first cleaning visit. Gregg sounded great on the phone and explained that his schedule is quite packed. I found a date a few weeks forward, but on that day Curwick was a no-show. I proceeded to leave multiple polite voice-mails over the following week and also emailed as well, yet never heard anything back. Fortunately, Amazon Local has a 30-day no questions asked refund policy, so we exited this unresponsive relationship with Curwick. I would advise others reading this to select a different cleaning service that does understand that good business operations includes customer communication and maintaining customer expectations. read more

Don't Even Think About It!! Yelp reviews mean so much and I chose to go with this service even after others said he's not reliable. Shame on me. He was supposed to be here at noon and then It got pushed to 1:30 and then a cancellation. If you value your time don't ever book with this service.. I hate to give a bad review because Gregg was a really nice guy and very personable and kind. However, after spending the money on an online package deal, I was disappointed by the service. He isn't terrible at cleaning at all, but getting him to keep appointments is next to impossible. He cancelled and rescheduled multiple appointments, only to not even show up for weeks and weeks on end. When he did finally show up for rescheduled appointments, he only came two times when I paid for three and I wasn't even able to get him to fulfill all of the visits I prepaid for. read more

I just wanted to recommend Curwick cleaning. I had Greg do my condo today and he did a fabulous job! I mean left my place really clean. He Actually got on hands and knees and scrubbed the floors, dusted everything, moved chairs, plants, ect. I was super impressed with the level of service. I have had other cleaning services over and they always seam to do a maintenance clean, but Curwick got down and dirty and cleaned the place thoroughly which is just what I was looking for. I bought a living social deal last year and tried redeeming it before Christmas, never got a call back. Called twice in January, nothing. End of Feb called more times than I can remember because the promotional deal was going to expire early March and nothing. Finally called living social to get my money back and of course they had to file a vendor complaint since they called and couldn't get a hold of anyone. When they finally did the response I got was to "call again leaving a very detailed message." I even sent an email! There is only one number to call. I got so frustrated with this and replied "how many more times do I need to call this guy back and get no response before I can get my money back?" This is ridiculous! I don't understand why after leaving more than 5 messages I couldn't even get a return call from Greg with an apology or even a response! I got an apology on behalf of living social but really?!?! This is very unprofessional and disappointing! It makes me wonder if these 5 star reviews are written by the owner or friends of the owner. I'll be looking this business up on BBA. Greg actually came to our house to meet us-said his schedule was busy but we picked out a date. Then he was a no show-picked another date-no show-once again, another date was picked. Amazing service from a great guy. We originally found Gregg via Amazon local. After the first cleaning, we said "yeah, he needs to come back." We received a deep clean on our house and it has never looked better. Gregg is meticulous; our patio door windows are so clean that it looks like there is no glass separating the indoor and outdoor spaces. Gregg took care of hard to reach cobwebs and our filthy kitchen floor (30-year old tile and all) looks great. My husband bought me an Amazon Local voucher from Curwick Cleaning. When it was about to expire we called to see if we were going to be held to the expiration date so we could schedule a cleaning and were told it didn't expire. So I waited for when we were planning to throw a party and wanted our house cleaned to use it. I admit I probably waited too long. But I was expecting him to at least honor the amount we paid for the voucher toward the cost of a cleaning. The dollar value of the voucher cannot expire in California, it is against the law. I pointed this out to him but was unsuccessful at getting him to honor the price we paid for the voucher toward the cost of a cleaning. I found his response to me extremely unsatisfactory. Luckily, Amazon Local is a professional company and refunded us the cost of the voucher. I would not recommend Curwick Cleaning to anyone. What a disappointment. read more
