I called and made an appointment for the next day. Ben was the technician that was at our place yesterday right on time. He installed an outside door with a push button built in lock. he made a recommendation and told us why he suggested the lock he did and we're pleased with what he recommended. He finished late in the day but Ben saw that our screen door was broken. He offered to come back with the attachments for the screen and repaired it himself. This was more than just locks. After repeated trips back to this business, I hope I never have to go back. The service was ok - but they had very little knowledge on the keys I had (motorcycle keys) I live an hour away and called ahead of time to make sure they had blanks and they said they had a pile of them. I show up and they had no idea what I was talking about or any blanks for me. Ok, so I ordered blanks off the internet and brought them in at a later date. My boyfriend went and got 3 keys cut and it cost him $15. I went to get two more cut and it cost me $40? Ridiculous. read more

I locked my keys in my car. The gentleman called me 8 minutes after I had called the business line to set up a service call. He told me he was waiting by my car. After he verified my vehicle, he was very quick and efficient in getting my car unlocked. $50 total! It was very convenient that he could call in the number to charge my credit card as well! read more

We moved into a new house and needed to get the locks changed. Our front door had a very nice handle and lock on it and I didn't want to change it out so I brought the dead bolt to Curt's. They were able to re-key it to the same key as the rest of my door locks and it was incredibly cheap. I was impressed. read more

HORRIBLE. Terrible customer service. These jokes had one job and that was to program and make keys for my truck. Two weeks with no vehicle, in and out of mechanic shops trying to figure out why my truck wouldn't start. Come to find out it was the key. My original key was depeogrammed and the anti-thief system was making it impossible to start. Go down to curts to get this explained. They basically called me a liar and tried to say the original key wasn't there when they keyed it. They wouldn't make eye contact with us, had their backs turned to us like little cowards. Had 2 keys made for $9 plus; they didn't work. The owner wouldn't refund. I told him replacement keys would be fine but he said I waited too long! Really?!? If I could post negative stars I would. I called to get into my house because I had locked myself out and the locksmith from Curts never showed up. I never received a phone call either. The lady on the phone was extremely rude too! Awful service. I called another locksmith, Lynn Johnson, that showed up within fifteen minutes and had us in our house in no time. read more

Accidentally locked my cat and purse in my car at the vet. It was 83 degrees out. Called and explained my pet was in the car. They said they would do an immediate dispatch. When they didn't show after 5-10 minutes I called again and asked where they were-I was told the technician was leaving from Curt's Lock and Key which should take 5-10 minutes tops to get to the vet office. When they still hadn't shown up after ANOTHER 10 minutes I called again they said the technician was on the way and chuckled as he said they unfortunately can't drive with sirens going. It ended up taking a HALF HOUR for them to get there. When the technician did arrive he was very cold and unfriendly. read more
