I live in between San Francisco and Reddings, 3 hours drive away from both locations. There are many plastic surgeons in San Francisco Bay Area where I could go to but I finally chose Dr. Wong at Reddings. My instinct was correct. I have had a superb experience with Dr. Wong and her staffs all the way around. The following are the reasons why I was very satisfied and thrilled with my experience and procedure-- Removal of Breast Implant Sub muscular, performed by Dr. Wong. 1. Courteous, compassionate, and friendly staffing/good communication & Organization Polite -- great phone mannerism; business was being conducted professionally; great communication between staffs and follow-up phone calls with patients. Here, I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to Diana, who provided great medical assistance to Dr. Wong as well as psychological comfort and rapport to me during my procedure. It could not have been so smooth and successful without her. 2. Flexibility /Efficiency/Professionalism Dr. Wong responded to all my inquires and emails promptly which I really appreciated. Before the procedure, I have had lots of concerns. I sent out numerous emails daily, and he answered and explained everything to me, not only patiently, but also clearly and efficiently that I wanted to be scheduled my procedure date with him asap. In order to accommodate me, he was able to do my Consultation the same day as my procedure's. Inquiry started on end of Oct, 2015, I had the procedure done already on Nov 7, 2015 Also, most physicians do not answer questions on the phone (Who knows? Ego problems?) however, Dr. Wong will pick up the phone and speak with you directly if he is not in the operating room or with a patient. Dr. Wong is definitely a physician who is easy to approach. This is a very important factor from the patient point of view. It tells you whether the doctor cares about himself or the patient 3. Knowledgeable/Skillful/Caring Dr. Wong was very knowledgeable about my procedure. He explained and disclosed to me all the Pros and Cons relative to choosing where to operate on in order to show the least scarring possible. Neither did I feel any pain during the procedure nor after the procedure as I was told from the beginning. I took very minimal pain pill, only 1 IBU. I am now very pleased with his suggestion and delighted to see the outcome. Currently, I am on my recovery stage. Dr. Wong has been doing lots of following-up with me both by phone and by emailing. This shows that he cares very much for his patients, make sure they are doing fine post-operatively. 4. Professionally ethical/Honesty I had no idea how much the procedure would cost ? After doing some research, I learned that other doctors charge a fortune on the same procedure. With Dr. Wong, the cost was very reasonable and there was no hidden or any surprised charges. Overall, I have had a very pleasant and satisfactory cosmetic procedural experience with Dr. Curtis Wong. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a skillful, decent, professional plastic surgeon. To me, he has helped accomplishing my goal, and he did an awesome job! read more

I have been meaning to write a review on my results and experience with Dr. Wong and his staff. I had breast augmentation on March 31st, so I am about 2 1/2 months post-op. My results are amazing! Going back to the start, I had my consultation in early March and Dr. Wong answered all of my questions (ones I hadn't even thought of). He explained everything thoroughly and was very clear about what to expect. When it was time to size, he was honest about what he recommended and helped me decide on the size that would achieve the results I wanted (not "too big"). I selected Mercy Surgical Center for my surgery... they deserve a separate review for how wonderful they were. They treated me like a princess. After surgery I had a next day follow up appointment where he checked on me to make sure everything was ok. At the one week follow up he really gave me lots of information on how to recover and things I could and couldn't do... as well as tips on how to make my breasts settle into the position which would give me the look I wanted. What I appreciated was his honesty. He would tell me "if you are ok with a fake look, do this..." "If you want a more natural look, do this." He showed me massages that were important for post surgery results and recovery. Two and a half months later, I am beyond happy with my results. Very natural. It's always enjoyale reading others reviews because we are all so subjective in what we view as good and bad. As I read a review left by an alleged patient of Dr.Wong's, it struck a nerve that someone can write such a review as she did. I have known Dr.Wong for going on 4 years and can honestly say he is one of the nicest, most genuine doctors you will find in the business. His bedside manner, his surgical expertise, his after care and concern for his patients - his brilliant works speaks for itself. Never once have I had any complaints with how he has helped me. His office staff is amazing to work with. What better can someone ask for? What makes reviews hard, is that all it can be is words, but words can be damaging. You can't see before and afters, you can't see the amazing results that come after such surgeries, often life changing. So to those petty enough to leave such harsh reviews on a doctor that clearly doesn't deserve one single word of what was said, shame on you. Look no further! Dr. Wong is the most AMAZING plastic surgeon around! Don't even bother shopping around or consulting with any other Doctor.....he is simply the BEST! He gave me a breast augmentation and my breasts look BEAUTIFUL! WOW! I couldn't ask for anything more! Yes, they look that good! I am so HAPPY I chose Dr. Wong! Dr. Wong was so patient with me and took the time to explain the entire process from start to finish and answered all my questions along the way. I have traveled twice now to Redding to have two different procedures done by Dr Wong. I won't ever go anywhere else because the main issue is I really trust him. He's very honest. Very caring. And was there for me via cell phone/texting both times my surgery was done!! I don't know any doctor that does that. He's genuine, professional and you feel comfortable in his office. Some Dr.s can be stuffy or rude but he's very nice and does excellent work. It really means a lot he was in touch afterwards with texting. His staff/assistant Sarah was also wonderful. Very nice and friendly. In person and over the phone. His office is clean and relaxing. I will always think so highly of him as he's done two very important procedures for me. There are no words to truly describe what an excellent doctor Curtis Wong is. I have been his patient for 15 years and have had nothing but outstanding results. He is the only Doctor I have ever had who gives his patients his cell phone number so they can speak directly with him post op about problems or concerns and will even make house calls if needed. His expertise is in many procedures, but he will not hesitate to refer to other doctors if he feels he cannot produce the results that the patient requires. Morally and ethically he is above reproach ..the negative review posted by Julia is totally untrue and it is reprehensible that Yelp will let it stand without posting a reply from Dr Wong. Had an emergency where I had a hole in my nose the size of a dime from falling over the thanksgiving holiday. Dr Wong got me in within an hour to diagnose my injury.
