Three calls over an hour and a half to his "after hours" number, and it was just his cell. He'd fallen asleep and hadn't heard. I describe she's still bleeding profusely, and all he did was tell me all the things it could be. Okay, so what do I do? Repeats the list then got annoyed when I kept asking what do I DO??? Next day, he and his nurse were rude to my daughter, telling her it can't be that bad and she shouldn't complain so much. A full month later she went to regular dentist for something else, and they said she STILL had a gash in her cheek (not at gum line) that wasn't fully healed and they didn't know why he didn't stitch it closed. I started inquiring about reimbursement at the two month mark. His office manager (his wife) said oh, we sent it to insurance, but it can take 90 days. I'll send it again. Waited a week, checked with insurance, nothing. Called again, same story, we'll send it again. Repeat the next week. Finally on day 91, insurance company said you know what? We will call. THAT was what it took for insurance to receive it within the hour. Presently, I'm waiting on them to call and say a check is waiting for me. Insurance approved payment on 5/14. They say dentist can take 30 days to process. We shall see.

My back teeth are very "short" making it difficult to fit the crown properly... and they were able to fit it almost right off the bat. The dentist was running behind and asked to reschedule me because the dentist was not available. I never received ANY service -- no exam, no cleaning, nothing. I even signed a form at checkout confirming I owed nothing. Despite that, the office deliberately slipped my "bill" onto my husband's account and charged him for both his real treatment and my nonexistent visit. My husband had no idea they combined our charges until AFTER we left the office and talked about what happened. That is deceitful, dishonest, and unethical. When I confronted them, they admitted they were wrong. But the truth is simple: if I hadn't spoken up, they would've happily kept the money they stole. This is not a mistake -- this is shady business practice. This office has zero integrity and cannot be trusted with your health OR your wallet. As a first-time patient, I would have appreciated it if the office had explicitly stated--preferably in writing--that Dr. Ken S. LeBlanc is an out-of-network provider for all insurance plans (as of 05/28/2025). We initially believed this clinic was in-network, and even after mentioning our insurance during the visit, this misunderstanding was not corrected. As a result, our out-of-pocket expenses were significantly higher than expected based on the initial estimate. We were charged nearly $400 per person for a routine teeth cleaning, X-rays, and oral exam, plus nearly $250 for one filling. Altogether, we paid more than $600 out-of-pocket for two cleanings and exams (for two people) and one filling. From my current experience with the office, I've learned that the insurance coverage estimate provided by the clinic should not be considered a guarantee. I've also realized that it should not be relied upon even as a rough reference. For example, my Delta Dental plan covered only about $20 of a nearly $250 charge. When I asked about the discrepancy, the staff explained that their estimate was based on a standard 80/20 assumption--80% insurance coverage and 20% out-of-pocket. However, this assumption did not reflect the actual amount paid by the insurer. I strongly recommend that new patients request a detailed breakdown of all charges before receiving any treatment--especially for something that may seem routine, like a standard cleaning--as actual services and costs can differ significantly from expectations. In our case, we were charged nearly $400 for our cleaning visits, even though our insurance has consistently covered routine cleanings twice a year in the past. Additionally, we felt misled by the fact that Dr. Claire M. LeBlanc is still listed on the practice's website and several online directories as affiliated with this location (as of 05/28/2025), even though we were informed that she no longer works there. We initially believed the office was in-network with Delta Dental partly because Dr. Claire's name was still associated with this address. Dr. Claire M. LeBlanc is the provider who is actually in-network with Delta Dental (as of 05/28/2025), which further contributed to the confusion regarding the provider's network status at this location.
