I have a number of health challenges which have earned me a handicap decal for my car. Among other long term challenges like diabetes, high blood pressure, etc., I went from being quite athletic doing ocean kayaking in Hawaii and being a remodeling contractor to having difficulty walking more than 50 yards and being on my feet waiting in line for more than a few minutes.
When I'm on my feet I first experience discomfort and then the pain becomes more acute, to where I wish I could just sit on the floor or the ground. The problem with that solution, however, is that I won't be able to get back up on my feet by myself or by having something to hold on to. It's a case of arhtritis in my knees and symptoms of fibromyalgia, in addition to not sleeping well, being tired all the time, and without enough plain, physical energy.
The mainstream medical establishment doesn't have any answers. This situation has gone on for some five years now with no improvement. I've studied nutrition to eliminate the harmful foods and to focus on those foods that may be free of herbicides, pesticides, GMO's, hormones in red meat, arsenic in chickens, and all the chemical additives like flouride, chlorine in tap water besides the pharmaceutical residues and heavy metals.
As this approach propably helped me from getting worse, diabetes essentially being a slow cancer, preventing a stroke and heart attack, or prostate cancer, what has really started to make a difference is the targeted nutrition plan from Kay.
From all the nutritionists, some who get as scientific as doing hair analysis and blood samples, Kay does the most extensive and sophisticated muscle testing of anyone I've been with in the natural health profession. She checks your different organs in this manner and then even determines their dosage needed for providing the "whole food, supplement nutrition" so that this part of your body can start to heal itself. I have been totally amazed how many part, organs and such, in my body function way below optimum. It doesn't surprise me then that I do have the health challenges that I do.
As much as some might consider muscle testing as being mostly subjective, Kay tops every other practitionaer I've been to in that regard who might have used this muscle testing diagnosis to some extend. She now has a lap-top computer and a mouse as large as your hand with places to put your fingers and thumb and after a while this computer will show in color code what organs need nutritional help and to what degree. This computer analysis, which must be the latest state of the art dignosis tool in the natural health industry, validated completely for me Kay's muscle testing.
Since I come out of the hard sciences and engineering originally, this demonstration fully cinched my confidence that Kay is practicing with a diagnostic method that far surpasses the diagnostics of mainstream medicine. The significant difference between the two is that mainstream medicine determines the symptoms and then tries to manage those with medications which have many harmful side effects.
What Kay does, on the contrary, is to discover the actual cause of the symptoms and then provides, not harmful chemicals, or even chemicals in vitamins, which the body can hardly recognize as food or nutrition, but she uses propbably the most carefully grown and processed whole food supplements that are close to 100% bioavailable. It is actual food that the body can utilize to nourish the parts and organs back to their optimum function and subsequent health. This kind of approach, is based on the premise, "give the body a chance, and it will heal itself." The body is a whole lot smarter than we give it credit for, and with Kay's approach, we are at last helping it to do what it was designed for, rather than pollute it further with chemicals of all sorts.
The proof in the pudding: when I take the supplements which Kay has prescribed for me, I instantly feel better, more energetic, more alert and can take hope again that something can be done about it, rather than to slowly succumb to the poisoning of managing symptoms with medications.
I rest my case.
