My son had been waiting months for an appointment to be evaluated for ADHD medication that he needed to help him succeed in school. The appointment happened to fall during the week after my father-in-law's death. I explained our family's situation and asked if there was any way to reschedule without having to wait several more months, since the appointment had already taken so long to get. I was told there were no exceptions and that the next available appointment would be months away. Faced with choosing between grieving with my family and delaying my son's care even longer, I kept the appointment. I went despite having spent the night preparing photos for my father-in-law's memorial. That experience left me feeling that policies mattered more than compassion. There were several other negative experiences over the years. One was serious enough that we moved our children to a different primary care practice. My husband and I stayed only because it was easier than finding new providers. Every appointment seemed to reinforce the feeling that patients' time and circumstances simply weren't valued. Today's experience was the final straw. Their parking lot was completely full, with cars circling and no available spaces. I arrived about 10 minutes late because I literally could not find a place to park. When I walked in, the receptionist immediately asked, "Was it the parking lot?" Clearly, they knew it was causing delays. After making a phone call, she told me I would need to reschedule because I was late, even though I had already checked in and paid my copay online. The irony was hard to ignore. This office expects patients to accept long waits after being called back, but when patients are delayed by circumstances the office is fully aware of, there is no flexibility. That same lack of understanding was what I experienced years ago during a family death. I went home, found a new doctor, and wish I had done it much sooner. If you're looking for a practice that values empathy, flexibility, and respect for patients' time, this was not my experience. I regret staying as long as I did, and I hope sharing my experience helps someone else make a more informed decision.

This place is a money grab and that is it. You will get basic medical care, with a side of "your stupid, i am smart" attitude when you try to ask questions and advocate for your health. I have been told "park farther from grocery store door", but funny my husband was never told that.. I have asked for tests and been talked to like I am dumb to ask for them and he sees no reason for it.... but yet, after fighting for the test, i am correct when results come in, as if I don't know my body and symptoms. I have asked for meds to help with certain issues that he started my husband on with no issues when his blood work was even less then mine, but for me let's "wait and see"..... while i have been literally struggling for my health asking for help. Once called for a sick appointment and given 3 months away date, like... ummm.. i won't be sick in 3 months. Then when I called for an iron test, did not even want to see Dr, just get blood work and then come in after results, they said they would call me back that day, took 2 days to call me back, somehow it MORPHED into an sick appointment when i just thought it was a regular appointment that week and was basically treated like crap by Dr. Margolis that i DARED take up an emergency appt..... hmmm, weird he could write in his notes they called me for appt (forgot to say 2 days later) and I was at work, so i took the next day appt, just thinking regular appointment and that I was lucky to get a close date, but then got scolded for taking other peoples time slot for an emergency, and sorry but if it was an emergency i would go to ER, and they would not have delayed calling me back 2 days late but yet jump me over taking a next day appt when they did finally call because i was at work and could not race there. I was available the day i called, weird ...no return call that day when told he was in office and would call back that day. Went once for a sick appointment for sinuses, and said i did NOT have covid, that i have had it in past and did not want a covid test, well they did two covid tests anyway, and i got a $800 bill. I would of been better off going to an after hour clinic for my issue.

They antagonize every patient when they are not within ear shot. I overheard the receptionist saying, "Get off your phone, get off your phone...." while a patient was respectfully standing AWAY from the window, finishing his phone call. She had plenty of time to wait and the waiting room was nearly void of patients at the time. Doctor THOMAS BARRIGER called me by the wrong name and simply shrugged and said, "Well close enough!" And he NEVER listens. He sits at his computer and stares at the screen. When my blood pressure was too low, and ai complained of headaches, he told me, "Well I get headaches every day..." When I called for test results, they hung up on me not once, but twice! On more than one occasion! Do yourself a favor and find a doctor and staff/nurses that won't talk about your medical records loud enough for the entire office to hear! A doctor who knows your name and an office that doesn't run like a circus! I posted this SAME review under the doctors name as well.... find anyone, but this office!
