FRAUD! This place Dr. Lawrence practices at should be called "The Endocrine Learing Center". First…read moreyou will only speak to the actual Dr. on your 1st visit, every time following that you will only speak with their "assistant". The assistants are good, but seem to be over worked because they NEVER follow up on anything they discuss with you. You will have to continuously call back to request for follow up on the things you discussed with them. I went in for an insulin pump on my 1st visit and gave up after a year of seeing no progress. I went to my PCP instead and had a pump within a month. You will also have to wait at least 6 months to get an appointment to speak with these "assistants". Here's the straw that finally broke the camel's back for me. I had a heart attack and while in the hospital one of the Doctors from this fraudulent office stopped into my room each day. They looked at my blood pressure and said, "Your blood pressure looks good, I'll stop back later to discuss your diabetes with you." They never stopped back later to discuss my diabetes but came back the very next day with the exact same story..."your blood pressure looks good, I'll stop back later." When I reviewed my hospital billing, those visits where they stopped in to tell me my blood pressure looked good were billed as "Endocrine Specialist Diabetes Counselling". This is obviously insurance fraud and likely the reason you can never see the actual Doctor at your office visits. The Doctors are too busy scanning the patient logs at the hospitals to see who has diabetes so they can make these 5 minute blood pressure comment visits and charge them as diabetes specialist counselling visitations while they have hired assistants acting as Doctors at their office. Don't just walk, but RUN away from this fraud of a Doctor!

Dr. Lawrence is extremely patient-centered and exceptionally responsive. I whole-heartedly…read morerecommend her without exception. She is thorough without being judgmental and offers a fresh, thoughtful approach to treatment. She listens and never interrupts and truly is caring and attentive. She is exceptionally knowledgeable about new treatment options, is updated and well-read on many health issues that concern her patients. I'm not sure how she has time to read every study, blind trial, and medical journal out there, but she has! It might take awhile to get an appointment, but that just speaks to her popularity as more patients find her and love her.

I feel bad having to give such a poor review but it felt necessary because this is hands-down the WORST office staff experience I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. They are super mis-communicative, rude, belittle your pain, and slow. The slow could be due to over-booking appointments, but the rudeness and miscommunication were absolutely unacceptable. I was given sighs of annoyance of for calling in for my test results so often even though you as the patient are required to call in when you assume the results should be in by. (Versus just having the office call you to notify you of your results which most offices do.) when they give you an estimate of 1-4 weeks for how long the results can take it seems weird to be getting annoyed responses from staff. I was told results were ready over the phone when they were not and then belittled in the background by a staff member being told "I just needed to deal with it" which they were unaware that I could hear. I know they might not have meant much by it but it can be very demotivating and disappointing to hear those things as a patient who is just looking for answers and has been in lots of pain for a long period of time. The time that appointments are at is very general at this office. Both times I had to wait 45 minutes past my appointment start time to even get in a room after being told to be there 30 minutes early. If you are someone who is busy this can really mess with your schedule as most people have strict work hours. Overall, I was just very disappointed and wished my experience had been better. I am not a person to complain as you can probably tell by my very little amount of reviews I give. Had I experienced maybe only half of the negative things I had, I wouldn't have even bothered reviewing.

This place is a money grab and that is it. You will get basic medical care, with a side of "your stupid, i am smart" attitude when you try to ask questions and advocate for your health. I have been told "park farther from grocery store door", but funny my husband was never told that.. I have asked for tests and been talked to like I am dumb to ask for them and he sees no reason for it.... but yet, after fighting for the test, i am correct when results come in, as if I don't know my body and symptoms. I have asked for meds to help with certain issues that he started my husband on with no issues when his blood work was even less then mine, but for me let's "wait and see"..... while i have been literally struggling for my health asking for help. Once called for a sick appointment and given 3 months away date, like... ummm.. i won't be sick in 3 months. Then when I called for an iron test, did not even want to see Dr, just get blood work and then come in after results, they said they would call me back that day, took 2 days to call me back, somehow it MORPHED into an sick appointment when i just thought it was a regular appointment that week and was basically treated like crap by Dr. Margolis that i DARED take up an emergency appt..... hmmm, weird he could write in his notes they called me for appt (forgot to say 2 days later) and I was at work, so i took the next day appt, just thinking regular appointment and that I was lucky to get a close date, but then got scolded for taking other peoples time slot for an emergency, and sorry but if it was an emergency i would go to ER, and they would not have delayed calling me back 2 days late but yet jump me over taking a next day appt when they did finally call because i was at work and could not race there. I was available the day i called, weird ...no return call that day when told he was in office and would call back that day. Went once for a sick appointment for sinuses, and said i did NOT have covid, that i have had it in past and did not want a covid test, well they did two covid tests anyway, and i got a $800 bill. I would of been better off going to an after hour clinic for my issue.
