He notified me that his arrival would be at 2:50. Thankfully we had a friend pick up my husband & 3 children shortly after that phone call. I called Brandon back at 5:35 since we hadn't had an update. I then texted 5 minutes later. Four hours after my initial phone call with Kings I called Allstate. Allstate shared that when they contacted Kings about why our car had not been towed, Kings stated that they were no longer able to get our vehicle. I did not receive a call or text back from Kings that they were no longer coming to tow our vehicle. Thankfully Allstate was able to match us with another towing company.

They were professional, respectful, and didn't argue with me or try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs. I specifically looked for negative reviews--and there were none. I dropped my car off early that morning, and they gave me a clear time estimate for when it would be ready. They even sent photos of the issue. While I didn't fully understand what I was looking at, the fact that they were transparent enough to share images--knowing I could easily research them--told me everything I needed to know about their honesty. I don't remember the technician's name, but they took great care of my foreign car, Lexi, and I'm beyond relieved not to be driving around with grinding rotors anymore. BY FAR THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! I have been a AAA member for years and have never had a problem with any roadside assistant service contractors... until Curtis Towing. My car needed to be towed out of an alley in Fells Point, Baltimore. I admit, it was a little hard to find for a tow truck driver, being that there was not an exact address. But, after he told me he was at the intersection I told him I was near, I quickly jogged to his truck. I explained to him that my car is in the alley and I pointed to the entrance. As soon as I pointed, he shrugged his head and sped off nearly running my feet over. After making a squealing u-turn, he gunned it down the alley to my car. When he got to my car he immediately hooked up the tow lift. I told him that, I had told AAA that I wanted to see if my car would turn over with a jump start just in case that was the problem. When I told him this, he looked away and said "well nobody F'in told me that". He then got the battery pack and I tried to turn the engine on, but as i expected, it did not work. I then got into his truck and knew it was going to be a long ride to Catonsville (a few miles south of the city). After cutting off a few cars and nearly hitting a bicycle rider, we pulled up to deadlock traffic (which is the norm for a 5pm on Lombard street). After trying to lighten the mood with the guy and being completely ignored, I see the passengers door of the car in front of us open. A guy got out with a tear drop tattooon his face and was obviously angry with the driver that he was in the car with. When he got out of the car in front of us, the tow truck driver laid on his horn for literally ten seconds. As our horn was blaring, the guy looked at us both and put up his middle finger and started making his way to the tow truck. As the deranged man got closer, I witnessed the tow truck driver put bis middle finger up and say "Come over here, i'll straiten you out". As, he said that the deranged man in the middle of the road proceeded to talk more smack through the window that was locked in the halfway position on MY SIDE. He could of easily reached in the vehicle or worse use a weapon. The deranged man eventually passed and the traffic broke. After a completely silent ride for the rest of the way, we finally arrived in front of my house. He then parked my car about 3 feet away from the curb. I got out of the car to check if there was any damage to my front end from his CRAZY driving and before I could even tell the man that I needed my car closer to the curb, HE WAS GONE. He sped off like he was on the drag-strip. If I could rate the service in the negatives... I would. Hands down, the worst customer service I have ever experienced. This is my first review that I have EVER posted on ANY website about bad service. Please save yourself a lot of trouble and possibly YOUR LIFE and do not choose this company when you are in a time of distress. Just terrible! read more

first week of July 2022 I called my insurance company Geico for Roadside Assistance for a jumpstart half hour later Curtis auto towing shows up, this huge ass tow truck with this crazy driver shows up long story short he totally botched every single attempt to try to properly get me on on my way, he then tried to hook up my van to a safer spot and in the process he attached his hook on the wrong spot of the front of my Honda Odyssey all of a sudden there was a cracking sound my bumper came out the clip was showing and the driver stopped and exclaimed, oh my God I put the hook in the wrong spot, push my bumper back as best as he could, and hopped in his tow truck and said it's on you miss, BYE. from there I tried to get Curtis Towing service to fix the damage that Bobby Chilcoate did to my Honda Odyssey, all I got was the runaround, I got intimidation tactics, I was told that the owner doesn't visit the business ever, he's old and incapacitated and they were hoping that I would go away, so I go to the shop because the manager was spreading rumors that I knew the driver that damaged my vehicle,so I wanted to confront him lo and behold there is Curtis,he comes within a few inches of me,wielding a wrench telling me to get out of his shop. steer clear of Curtis and Curtis towing if you are a psycho insurer do not except Curtis Curtis towing service they are the worst of the worst and frankly little puny Curtis tries to act like a gangster which he is not. Actually he either does not have insurance to cover my claim or he is the stupidest businessman in in all of United States of America I hope this man gets put out of business because he is a bully and a punk read more

I havent used your service yet but we had almost got into an accident because of a curtis towing truck driver along dundalk ave around 1:30pm on 8/4/19. He never yielded and just drove straight from hollabird to dundalk ave. Please lecture all drivers to please be a traffic law abiding drivers. The driver was caucasian around maybe 40-50 yrs old. They should always observe and give respect to all drivers who have the right if way and not just drive like nobody is driving around. read more

Your tow driver is insane! It was 8/8 at 7 pm and your tow truck was on i-70 westbound between Hancock and Hagerstown MD weaving in and out of traffic at 90mph while carrying what looked like a white Chevy Malibu. They nearly swerved into my vehicle 3 times, they ran 2 others off the road, and caused many near accidents! Talk to your drivers about safety! You would not like speaking to attorneys. read more

There was a pregnant woman there, her name was Katy (I believe) was incredibly rude and disrespectful. I'm a woman who has worked in the restaurant industry, so I fully understand how stressful customer-facing jobs can be. That's why I made sure to be polite and respectful throughout our interaction. Unfortunately, that effort was not returned. Katy came off as completely miserable and made an already stressful situation so much worse. She offered no help, no compassion, and certainly no professionalism. I understood the towing policy. I wasn't there to argue but her attitude made everything harder, especially for someone dealing with this for the first time. On the bright side, one of the towing guys I spoke with was kind and helpful, and I really appreciated that. But it's unfortunate that one person can make such a negative impact on the entire experience. If management is reading this, I would have loved the chance to speak to someone in charge, but Katy refused to provide any contact information.
