When purchasing an item recently, there was no one to ask about the item I wanted (a coffee machine) so I took it to the till where the cashier said that all the filters were present in the box. When I got home & watched the Delonghi video I could see that one of the filters was missing and that the cashier either didn't know his job or (more likely) couldn't be bothered to check, he was more interested in trying to sell me extended guarantee. I telephoned customer services who told me that I must ring Delonghi who would send me the filter free of charge, this was untrue and Delonghi say that my only option is to return the whole item which is a 2 hour round trip. read more
