I've bought quite a few disco lighting units from Maplin, and although quite a few of them have been supplied with one blown bulb, there have been no problems with getting replacement bulbs free of charge. I would happily recommend this shop to anyone, as I have had no problems with the goods or after sales service.

They also sell homeware in this store and have some really lovely things, quite similar to what you would find in Next etc. but at much more competitive prices. There are plenty of changing rooms here so you never really have to queue for too long and the rooms are clean and spacious. I don't live in Newton Abbot but whenever i am nearby i try to pop in here as i much prefer it to the Matalan in my hometown.

It's a discount store that has everything but not the discount store feel like a pound or 99p store. There was so much stuff at very good prices. I bought some Christmas cards (2.00), a couple 2015 pocket diaries (1.50 and 2.00), a big pack of antibacteria wipes (.50!!), a pack of 3 toothbrushes (.74!!!) and a lot of other stuff and hardly spent anything. Actually the receipt says 14 items for just over 15 quid. Check out this store or even another one in another city since it appears to be a chain store.

Prices aren't small but Zanzibar has got a sales shelf on which you can always find a little pretty bargain. Customer service is very good and the staff is eager to help if requested. The only criticism I have, is that stock does not change often enough and when you like myself pop in once a month and see hardly any newly added interesting items, it could get boring very quickly which would be a real shame. There is a large indoor area with all sorts of gardening equipment, plants and seeds. There is everything from bird feeders to garden gnomes. St Bridgets also sell koi and other pond fish. Outside there are more plants, ornaments and accesssories. A very big bonus especially for children is the large koi pond area which is fenced off and children must be supervised but it does have a large viewing platform where children can get to appreciate these wonderful fish. There is also an area which is specifically for gravel and stones, pots and containers and pre made garden ponds. St Bridgets stock most varieties of fish food. I have found their staff always very helpful, with various 'experts' in different fields. There is also a lovely cafe on site.
