I bought an Acer netbook from Curry's on the 7th of October.

Everything was fine, til it made an odd sound, and it stopped working. I contacted Curry's, figuring since I bought the merchandise there, they could help me. The man on the phone, immediately accused me of dropping my netbook, and told me to come in. The attitude of the salesperson put me off, but I went in anyway. I spoke to the manager, and the manager told me he wanted me to package the netbook up, and have the manufacturer fix it. This is the catch! I have to make all the arrangements MYSELF, and they passed the buck onto Acer, calling it an "Äcer" problem, not a Curry's problem. And, to accuse me of dropping a netbook is absurd? Since when is it customary to treat customers like liars?
I spoke calmly to the Manager, and requested a new netbook since this one is faulty, and a new motherboard would cost MORE than the netbook. The manager would not budge, said contact Acer. "Not our problem."
I would like Curry's to acknowledge this is a legitimate complaint, and would offer a replacement. The netbook stopped working in my hands, before it powered down. Their Customer Service skills are horrid, along with their accusations, and their attitude towards me, like I was trying to cheat them or something, when I think they were projecting.
I will never shop there again!
I belong to an online community of Technicians, and I will blog about their poor service on the net, to make sure no one makes the same mistake I've made, which was SHOP AT CURRY'S.
