So I had a little disappointment because I asked for each of my curries to be mild, and unfortunately, I just ate the goat and it was super spicy; also mainly bones and no meat!

Great service. Lots of options, ready to eat. Delicious naan, and the rice is perfect. I'd love to go back and try their other options.

Honestly had such a wonderful experience here. The person helping take our orders was soooo nice, answered all our questions and got through a long line quickly. The food was hot, ready and tasty. All the chicken options I ordered had nice big chunks of chicken, slightly spicy curry and nothing was chewy. The samosa was good, the Chili Garlic Naan was INCREDIBLE. Highly recommend this place. Inexpensive, friendly and delicious.

Read my spicy masala lips...I come here at least twice a month...if not more! This place is flavor heaven. We usually pick up and double up on the chicken tikka masala which is drop dead delicious!! The owner knows my order the minute he sees me cross the threshold so do yourself a favor and try it! And if you have never had Indian food and don't mind a little spice -- omg give your mouth something to smile at! :-)

This place is super comfy and homely. The person who I am presuming is the owner was talking to me about the food and their differences compared to bigger Indian restaurants. I loved how much passion he had when talking about the food and it absolutely showed in the product. I got a 2 item combo with an upgraded garlic naan. Goat curry and chicken Tikka Masala. Both were amazing and very different from each other. The spice palettes were perfect. Alongside the food I ordered a sweet lassi. Which was delicious and nicely complimented the meal. The staff was kind and hospitable, and even other customers that came in were just as excited for the food as I was. 10/10 would recommended on every end.

Two Item Combo with Butter chicken (contains Nuts) & Chicken Tikka Masala

I'm happy I found this place because they sell single meal combos. I ordered the 2-item plate which comes with rice. I tried their butter chicken and chicken tikka masala and I upgraded my naan to garlic naan for 75cents. Everything was really good! The service was friendly and fairly quick- I only had to wait on the garlic naan which was worth the wait. The ambiance is very casual and I will be back.

THREE ITEM COMBO (Palak Paneer, Daal makhani, Chicken Tikka Masala in small bowl) 1 ITEM BOWL (Butter Chicken)

My new favorite place! For the last two months, I've been ordering from here 1-2 times a week! This is my first introduction to Indian food, and I can't get enough. I always order the three item combo because you can't beat the price or portions! This time I ordered Daal Makhani, Palak Paneer, and Chicken Tikka! And a bowl of butter chicken! The chicken tikka masala is unbelievable! I could eat it everyday, and still be impressed each time! The Palak Paneer was so nice! It was my first time trying it and I really enjoyed it! I can't wait to try the Paneer Masala next. I already know I'm going to be in love!

We weren't super hungry but felt like getting out after being cooped up inside all day because of the weather. Excellent, cheerful service, dinner was delicious and when two people can walk out satisfied for under $100, including wine, well...wow! The assortment of food was great, and our server was amazing, taking care of us the entire time, even asking about refills on any specific dishes. My favorite was the chicken tikka masala surprisingly and not so much the curry that I got this on the refill. The rice portions were massive, and it was okay, definitely too much. The garlic naan was a tasty pairing, though. I also really enjoyed the Dosa and had to order a second one. If this is what dosa is, I may have a new addiction. The various dips around the plate were very tasty as well. It really was hard for me to decide which I liked the most since they were all great and had their own unique flavors. That Kheer, though, for dessert is a hard pass for me, though. The Kheer was too sweet; while I could see the direction, this was a "not for me" kind of dessert.

This is a godsend for night owls who want to dine late. There is a feeling that you are in a new version of "The Night Hawk" by Edward Hopper where single diners sit at a diner very late at night passively waiting for what no one knows. The other more important reason to come is the kind, quietly hospitable waiter who took my order. He will ask how piquant you want the curries. I chose a step up from mild, and for me, it had enough of a kick. Much of the food seems cooked to order so the food comes out hot and fresh off the stove. Assam is a state in Northeast India north of the nation of Bangladesh. It's famous for its Assam tea found even in English Breakfast and Irish Breakfast teas. 0) Chutney: a. Mint is puréed in a watery solution that is very subtle. b. Mango Is thick like a confiture/jam. Very pleasantly sweet with chopped fruit in a viscous, sugary liquid that may have a touch of vinegar to enliven the fruitiness. c) Cilantro-Mint: Watery purée with notes of green herbals. 1. Vegan Samosa: a very crisp wrapper perhaps made from a combination of rice & wheat flour contrasts against pleasantly starchy potato flavoured with a touch of aromatic Garam Masala spice blend. Coming out piping hot, great textual contrast between crispy & plush. Excellent must have Samosa. I originally ordered the beef Samosa, but they had run out, and I'm glad they did. 2) Pasanda Curry is made from finely ground nuts like possibly almonds, green herbs, curry powder, and perhaps yogurt for a creamy consistency. It had enough of a chile piquancy to heat up my tongue to stimulate the taste buds. Generous portion of shrimp added a sweet sea minerality and fibrous meatiness that went well. Bit of corn starch to thicken the smooth sauce. Rather subtle, sophisticated dish 3) Coconut Curry definitely has coconut milk fragrance, & flavour that thickens the curry. Also woody, distinct sweetness that seems to come from nutmeg. The chunks of lamb are well done, meaty with a chaw. No hint of that lamb gaminess. 4) Rogan Josh: Very refreshing, light curry with grilled onion, tomato, bell pepper, garlic that are flash sautéed to bring out dulcet tone of the vegetables. Shrimp with marine scented, fibrous meatiness kept this dish subtle and ethereal. This is the kind of delicate curry that is rarely found in Los Angeles. Definitely a must get if heavy handed cooking is to be avoided. 5) Methi Curry: Fenugreek scented stewed thick chunks of lamb braised in a dark brown, heavy sauce. Meat eaters will like this for its emphasized meaty textures. 6) Korma: Lightly, creamy, coconut milk, sweet, smooth curry with a hint of ginger, coriander, puréed cashew to add a "cashew butter" nuttiness. Slightly gamey lamb went well. 7) Yellow Curry: May have a bit of Garam Masala, turmeric for a touch of woody earthiness. Mild and semi sweet. Breast meat chicken. 8) Paswari Naan: Stuffed with a sweet paste of coconut, almond, and raisin baked in Naan flat bread. Great to dip pieces of this bread into Methi Curry gravy. Or Paswari can be eaten as a dessert with Cumin scented Chai. 1-7a) Basmati Rice accompanies all currys. Nutty with dry texture, lightly friable, al dente. This rice is made to go with savory, multi-spiced, complex South Asian food as a textural contrast and palate neutral relief from all the complex spice mixtures. Quiet late night dining along with meditative, musical South Asian chanting that is contemplative and introspective to facilitate mindfulness in order to truly appreciate the food to the fullest. 4+ stars
