I haven't had Indian food for quite some time, so I suggested to my husband to go out for dinner. We found this place on Yelp. When we got there it was quite empty except for one table with a couple, there were no other customers. But that was fine with us. We were greeted by a nice gentleman and shown a table where we could sit. The place is small but very clean, and on the chic side. The food, all I can say and I also can speak for my husband, was fantastic!!! My spouse had shrimp biryani and I had lamb tika masala. The lamb pieceswere soyender and the sauce was ti die for. And we also had some regular naan. All in all I must say, their kitchen staff ( cooks) do an incredible job and the gentleman who took our order and brought us our food and the other gentleman who took our check, both were extremely polite, professional, kind and gave us the feeling we were welcomed guests. Thank you. This place is worth a try out.

    Sag Aloo!!!

They barely opened so we were the first customers. Interesting interior decor. Nice and cozy. We were welcomed by Mohammed a nicer elderly individual. After looking through the menu, my partner went with the chicken tikka marsala mild spicy. I chose the lamb vindaloo spicy. Appetizer was onion bhaji. He quicky brought out the crispy papadum compliment with my mint and red chutney. It was delicious and a nice starter. Something nice to munch on while we waited for the onion bhaji. The bhaji was good, a little different from what i was used to. I guess south indian cuisine is a bit different from the north. Regardless it paired well with the mint chutney. Next the main course. Wow! The chicken tikka marsala was pretty buttery and tasty. My partner loved it saying the consistency has not changed from over a decade ago. To me that is solid. My vindaloo was delicious with a good amount of spice level. You could taste the flavor without dying from spice heat. Again a little different from what i am used to. Since i am of burmese decent, i am used to dryer oily curries but i am sure everyone's palette is different. Both dishes paired really well with the saffron rice amd garlic naan. We ended the meal with a complimentary ras malai, on the house from Mohammed. Such a nice gentleman. The desert was just what we needed to end the meal on a hot day. I can see why this place has been around for over 40 years. Food is great and customer service is exceptional. Very friendly people who treats you with the utmost respect. Definitely coming back again when i am in the area. Thanks again!

Even though I ordered the three item combo, I ended up just buying another fourth item because I liked it so much. The service is really nice and they gave great recs. All of the curries are unique. Everything is already freshly made when you arrive so it's grab and go. They do have seating and a wide range of drinks. Chicken tikka masala reminds me of tomato basil soup but with a bunch of different spices and chicken added to it and it's comforting because you can eat it with their fragrant rice! And It was the sweetest of the four options but I personally like sweet and savory so this was up there for me. The butter chicken was more savory and garlicky. The palak paneer was my favorite, I'd order that again for sure. The cheese melts in your mouth bc it's so soft. They blend the spinach completely which I really like not to have to chew my spinach. It's very creamy and rich! I wonder if they use coconut milk? The goat curry bone in was the spiciest and most savory of the four options but was a pleasant heat that comes later. They gave good portions of meat and honestly so worth it! The two or three item combos come with naan! They share a parking lot with other businesses in the small plaza. I highly recommend coming here for Indian food. I'm coming back for sure!

Seems they fired all their good employees to build whatever they're building. I want to love this place- and I have loved this place. But oh it hurts a lot to see two elderly people struggling to run this place on their own who make pickup confusing and yell at you if your order is wrong. I Ordered a Chicken Tikka Masala through their website, and was given Chicken Tikka. Waited 10 minutes to pay for my order, and then they ended up waving off my desert because they couldn't figure out how to use the tap to pay. I tipped the amount it was just incase they couldn't figure it out. I'm heartbroken cuz when I got home and realized the mistake- I called back and politely said I thought I ordered the chicken tikka masala and was met with yelling of "I asked you if you wanted tikka or masala you said tikka!" He never asked me such a thing. Even when I was trying to pay for the rice pudding, i mentioned it was chicken masala and they acted very confused like the needed to make me one and have me pay for it. This is so dissapointing considering I've been coming here since I moved in 2021. I've been a longtime customer and local but after being treated that way- I'll be going elsewhere. I'm not happy about the quality of the Chicken Tikka also. I'm really upset. Have reccomended this place to people for years and will no longer be coming here. The food took forever from when we ordered it despite there not being many others waiting for takeout. They did give us extra naan for the wait which was considerate. Overall the food was good but if it was cheaper or the portions larger that would make up for some of these inconveniences.

We waited around 25 min and finally flagged down the server to ask about the mango lassi and the food. The table behind us that arrived some time after we did were given their papadum starter, drinks, and food before we were. What was more, another server came with our food and joked our kufta dish has chicken in it. Then he said he's kidding. This was not funny. I am, after all, vegetarian. The kuftas were too thick and hard to eat with naan. I did like the garlic basic naan. The rotis were too tough. We took the leftovers but neither of us actually wanted the food. I discarded all of it. This is most unlike us as we hate wasting food but the whole experience and food itself left a bad taste in my mouth. We came here very hungry after a long day. We browsed for restaurants open after 10pm on Sunday and finally came across this place. My boyfriend had come to visit me in Santa Clarita Valley from Downtown LA. He said he tried Clay Pit in Los Angeles and it was good. So we decided to come here and I drove us. In the end, we were met with a relatively unpleasant experience and mediocre food. We will not return here.

I decided to call to see if the restaurant would honor it. but there was no answer. Tried to call during actual AYCe hours. Still unable to get an answer. He even helped me with the reservation. That call brightened my day. Finally Sat! Checked in and had to wait a bit before getting seated. I was happy that we got seated near the main seafood section. I wasn't expecting a lot, but I was hoping to be able to enjoy some of the seafoods this time. Huge improvement on the seafoods!! The whole steamed lobsters were not overcooked. It was yummy with the butter and lemon. The snow crab legs were in good size. Wasn't that salty. Was good with or without butter. King crab legs were ok. It was thin than the ones previously. However, it was edible this time. It wasn't super salty. Some were just pretty dry and the meats weren't as tasty as the king crab legs I normally eat from other places. The sashimi was fresh. For ayce, the quality was great. All the other items were good as well. Foods were no longer as salty as before. I felt like their chef was messing with the foods or something back then. Maybe new chefs? I hope things will stay consistent or improve even more in the future. The Thai tea without boba was good. It was way better than what I had in the morning. The tea was strong. I had 2 cups hehhe Service was good. They came by a few times and made sure things were going smoothly. The desserts were not the greatest. They need a new baker or get their cakes else where. I didn't see any baked lobsters. I really enjoyed the baked lobsters back in the days. Looking forward to return with the family. Thank you, Miguel!! Reg price for dinner was $139, but they had a promotion going on for $109 pp. With the bogo deal, our total came out to $166.15 instead of $275.15. They now have a facility charge and a no tipping policy. I prefer this over the standard with Cafe Sierra. I am ok with tipping, however, I have had servers that circled the percentage of tips they wanted and expected that amount to be given. The lady servers who did this were not present during the visit. Great! Sierra doesn't need these greedy servers.
