PLEASE TRY THIS PLACE. i've never had indian food ever in my life until today! my friend and i tried it today based on some reviews online about how great the food was and how nice the owners were. all of that was an understatement! the man could tell we never been there before and was nice enough to explain how it worked and showed us every meat and veggie he had, in detail. he was patient in letting us talk amongst ourselves to figure out what we wanted. we got butter chicken, potato wedges, chicken tikki marsala, and peas and carrots. all of it WAS SO GOOD. he was also kind enough to give us lentils on the house. i wasn't a fan personally but my friend loved it. i'm just really picky lol. the rice and naan were so good and he even gave us more naan! i cannot express how friendly and kind he was. he told us that he didn't consider this 'his business'- he does this because he is passionate about his food and loves what he does. and it definitely shows. even if you think the food is 'bland and mediocre' (which i don't think it is) you should definitely go solely for the customer service. we will definitely be back. read more

We saw their sign driving by and decided to check them out. The restaurant is a small, family run spot. We were immediately welcomed in by the restaurant's very kind owner/chef who was so personable and inviting to us. He reccomended their Combo #3, which is two meat dishes, two vegetable side specials, rice and naan for about $11, and EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS!!! The spinach with cheese, green beans, and okra were all amazing, and the beef and chicken were soo flavorful and delicious. The naan was also particularly tasty too! The mango lassi drinks were also amazing!! We HIGHLY recommend Curry Xpress for its incredible food, incredible hospitality and incredibly reasonable and affordable prices! If you want a fabulous, refreshing and delicious break from all the repetitive casino food, visit Curry Express! You will leave extremely satisfied and very happy you stopped by this wonderful little hidden, hole-in-the-wall treasure. This place have's to be the Dirtiest disgusting place I ever been too. I went here a couple of day's ago and order some Tandoori Chicken with butter chicken, rice & Naan Bread the Tandoori tasted too dry, the glass windows that you look threw was filthy like it was never cleaned. You can clearly see trash under the buffet bar's where the cash register is at. When I ate the Tandoori chicken I ended up in the hospital with FOOD Poison from them I knew it was from them because that was the only thing I ate. Also this place is crawling with ANT's... Where is the Health Inspector? This place is horrible this place is not suitable to be open with all of these problems They are doing Health Hazard's that will make people sick I know i'm not the only person who gave this place a bad review someone else did on Facebook as well read more

Wow, this is the best Indian food that I have ever had in my life! I am an avid traveler and I have had my fair share of Indian food and this is the real thing. Everything is prepared by the owner and his family which is very impressive to me since everything is so commercialized now. They offer a healthy selection of food and its portioned perfectly. Mississippi is known for its obesity, so of course one would say that the portions are too small. Overall I give this restaurant a FIVE STAR rating. When I am able to travel back to MS I will definitely eat here again!!! Cheers! read more

I stopped in for lunch today, I've been wanting to go since I saw it had opened. I was not disappointed. Everything I had was good, spiced just right for me. Not to hot but not bland. The lady who served me, I found out later was the owner, and the gentleman working with her were both very nice to talk to. As noted in other reviews the portions looked a little small, but don't worry this food is very filling. By the time I was done I was very satisfied. Anymore and I would have been miserable. Biloxi, Ms. Was riding down the road looking for something. Saw the sign and turned in. I like indian food but don't have any where I live. I got the butter chicken and some other chicken. She gave me a piece of vindaloo chicken as lagniappe. The flavors were great. As others have said the food temp was warm. Could have been a tad warmer. The naan was perfect. Don't want it to burn my mouth. I am glad I stopped. I only get this way once a month and will come back next month. read more

The taste was great! Not over powering with spice. I started off with vegi somosa, had all the flavors and went great with the green and red sauces. The meats were yummy and mixed good with the rice. I got peas and cheese for my side, love that cheese. Desert was my favorite and capped off the evening perfectly. I tried Curry Xpress for the first time last Friday. It was delicious! I especially enjoyed the lentils and okra. The naan with garlic was so tasty. Everything is made fresh by the chef/owner Bob, who was very friendly. I like that the food was flavorful but not spicy/hot. If you'd like some heat, Bob will prepare your dish that way for you. Really, really good food. The owner (Bob) is very friendly and helpful. Just tell him what you like and he will personalize your meal. If you're in a hurry, this is the place to grab some real food on the go. But if you have the time, stop in and talk to Bob. He made me and my family feel welcome. Wonderful place if you just want to get a quick Indian lunch. The food was great, filling, and cheap. The woman working there (who I assume to be the owner) was nice and showed pride in her food. Our 1st time eating Indian food. Absolutely delicious. The owners were very attentive and servicing. I loved everything I tried- especially the Lamb Chops and Steak Masala! One of my favorite places to eat whenever I'm in Biloxi, Mississippi. It smells so good when you walk in. Butter chicken, Beef Vindaloo and mango Lassi are my favorite. Great place to get a quick Indian food fix! It's not super spicy, and there was a good selection of meat and veggie dishes to choose from. They are already prepared and you tell the proprietor your choices. Naan and salad included. And please treat yourself to a delicious mango lassi!! read more
