The best veterinary clinic in Clovis, New Mexico! I've had…read morewonderful experiences with this clinic on multiple occasions. The first time, I brought in Ginger, a stray cat I rescued, to be spayed. The staff took excellent care of her and even kept her overnight for observation rather than sending her home the same day. Ginger recovered beautifully, and I was very impressed by the level of care and attention she received. Recently, I brought in another rescued stray, Shadow, and once again had an outstanding experience. The entire staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, courteous, and professional. Dr. Dawkins was extremely thorough, took the time to show me the imaging, explain the lab results, answer my questions, and provide honest, realistic expectations. I never felt rushed, and I truly appreciated the time and attention given to Shadow. What stands out most is their compassion, professionalism, and genuine dedication to animal care. They consistently go above and beyond, and it's clear that they truly care about their patients. I'm very grateful to have such a wonderful veterinary clinic here in Clovis. Highly recommend!

This place is weird. I went to their office to see if I could get a supply of special diet cat…read morefood that my cat needs for allergies. There was no-one at the front desk, and no sign of anyone around. I called out, and shouted, but no-one came. I waited for a long time, but no-one came. I could have stolen all sorts of bags of pet food etc. In the end I just walked out.

I want to start by acknowledging something positive. The staff at All Pets Animal Hospital were…read moregenuinely kind and friendly toward my dog during the appointment. It is obvious that the people working there care about animals, and I appreciated the way they handled her once we were finally seen. However, the experience leading up to the appointment was frustrating and frankly unacceptable from a customer service standpoint. I arrived on time for my scheduled appointment and then sat in the waiting room for roughly 40 minutes before being called in. During that entire time, no one acknowledged the delay. There was no update, no explanation, and no simple "sorry for the wait" from the front desk. When I was eventually called back, the vet tech also made no mention of the delay. The whole interaction carried on as if everything were perfectly on schedule. What makes this especially frustrating is that earlier the same day I received a text message from the clinic reminding me that if I were late or missed my appointment I would be charged a $50 fee. That kind of policy suggests the clinic values punctuality and accountability from its clients. Unfortunately, that same standard clearly does not appear to apply in the other direction. When the clinic runs 40 minutes late, the expectation seems to be that the customer simply sits quietly and absorbs the delay. Delays happen in veterinary medicine and most reasonable people understand that. Emergencies come up. Appointments run long. That is not the issue. The issue is the complete lack of communication or basic courtesy about it. A quick acknowledgment, an apology, or even a simple update would have gone a long way toward showing respect for the time of the people sitting in the waiting room. Compounding the problem was the attitude from the doctor, which made it clear that this level of delay was treated as normal and not worth acknowledging. If that is how the clinic chooses to operate, that is their decision. But it is not a standard of professionalism I am willing to accept. I let them know before leaving that I will be taking my business elsewhere and will not be returning to All Pets Animal Hospital. The staff were kind to my dog, and I appreciate that, but respect for a client's time and basic accountability matter as well.

You know you found a good vet when your first encounter is late on a Friday night in an emergency…read moresituation. First of all, they have an on call service to answer emergency calls. How comforting is that! When the vet arrived, Dr Whitney, she had her assistant, and they both took ample time to assess the situation of our injured dog. No rushing and were very compassionate. We took him home, with full care instructions. The next day we were back for follow up and again saw Dr Whitney. The reception staff was wonderful. We had made appointment with another vet who was available for Monday for another follow up, but imagine our surprise to get a call much earlier in the day to bring him right in to see Dr Whitney. Ultimately, we had to make the kind choice to end his suffering. And never have we been treated kinder by all staff and were given plenty of time to say goodbye. Every single person we encountered treated us kindly and knew how painful this is. I just hate that their encounter with our beloved dog was at this point and they didn't get to see the fiesty little guy he was. But we will be taking our other two dogs there for future routine vet visits. Being new to Clovis finding a vet is a hard choice. I don't think you could do better than this group. Updated: absolutely five plus stars for this veterinary clinic! They have since taken care of yearly vaccinations for our two 8 year old cowdogs and we have acquired a wonderful puppy from the Clovis Animal shelter, who has been in three times for shots. Dr Whitney is our go to vet. The care and compassion of everyone there is great. Their love for animals shows.
