He is so kind, patient, friendly so positive and is always genuinely happy to see you. He is extremely knowledgeable and always takes the time to educate you, and explain where your teeth are in the journey. He has the biggest heart and truly wants all of his patients to be successful in their orthodontic journey. Dr. Peterson is also a perfectionist when it comes to the end result of your orthodontic journey. He wants your teeth to be perfect, and in my experience good enough wasn't good enough...they had to be perfect. I never give bad reviews and like to try and see the good in most. Dr Petersen does go above and beyond for some of his patients. However, my experience was very poor and have heard the same for others I have talked to! I came to Dr Petersen in 2019 for braces and was talked into Invisalign promising big results in 9 months. I had a standard class II Div 1 bite (standard overbite) and opted to go for quicker results. With COVID, it only put me behind about 4 weeks in my trays and I followed every Invisalign compliance. 2 years later almost to the exact day, Dr Petersen told me my treatment was complete. My bite was worse off then before. Reached out to another local dentist and then Dr Lemert for 2nd opinion and was told by both that I was nowhere near completion. I am now paying for full braces and another 18 months to have Dr Lemert do correctly. My concerns were brought to Dr Petersen professionally and ignored following these appointments. I highly recommend doing your research and finding an office that values patient concerns even when the outcome isn't in the Doctors favor. At the end of the day I'm thankful I can honestly take those experiences and give a professional opinion to the patients I see next year as a Dental Hygienist in hopes they can avoid the disappointment I went through. I loved this office the first year of treatment, and it was upsetting with how everything was dealt with in the end. read more

Sooo happy with current orthodontics -- they went out of their way to make sure my daughter had her braces off for prom ... actually fit us in before prom weekend when our regular appt wasn't till the week after . I am 72 years old. I'm not the typical patient at the orthodontist office. My dentist told me I was going to lose two teeth if I didn't do something. His recommendation included extractions and implants and a year and a half of work. It also was very expensive but he told me I had no choice. My wife suggested I get a free checkup and evaluation at Current Orthodontics from Doctor Petersen. I am very happy that I listened to her. Dr Petersen fixed my teeth in only 8 months with no extractions or other extreme treatments. Just braces. I now have healthy teeth that will last the rest of my life. On top of that my wife tells me my teeth never looked so good. Dr Petersen is a miracle worker In my book. All the staff there is super friendly and helpful. Scheduling was easy and they were friendly and nice on top of it. I saw a lot of young folks in there and they obviously like the doctor and staff too. I can't recommend this office and doctor highly enough. The price was also a lot less than I expected. I'm glad that when Dr Roman retired that Dr Petersen came to town to save my teeth. read more

Dr. Petersen and every single member of his staff are fantastic. My daughter is a patient and it is wonderful to see how her smile improves week after week. Dr. Petersen is the consummate professional who is very personable and down to earth. What strikes me about him is that though I accompany my daughter to her appointments; she is the patient and as such, Dr. Petersen always takes the time to explain treatment processes and procedures to her directly as I listen in. It's refreshing to see this because from past experiences, it's usually the parent that gets spoken to and the child may feel marginalized in their own treatment.
